Missing Cat [V.H FF]

I wake up to something moving on me. I yawn and open my eyes to see vinnie laying on me. I forgot he was even here. I start to play with his hair because it was all on his face. It was soft even though it was a mess from sleeping.

Cuddling him feels amazing. Waking up to him is nice as well, but it's not going to be an every day thing of course. I slowly scoot to try and grab my phone causing vinnie to groan. Shit. He slowly opens his eyes and blinks a couple of times.

"I forgot I was here" he said with a small smile. "Same" I say still being tired. "What time is it" vinnie asks rubbing his eyes, "I don't know I was trying to get my phone but I didn't want to wake you, clearly I failed at doing that." I laugh a little.

Vinnie laughs a little and grabs my phone. He checks the time but then sighs. "Don't think I was in your business but I was looking at the time and jacob texted, he wants y'all to go on a date" vinnie says handing me my phone. Invasion of privacy much.

I mean it's not like I was hiding stuff from him but still he didn't have to read the text. I don't go through his damn phone. I'm sure there is thousands of girls in his dm's asking to go on a date. I don't know why I was getting so mad about this. I guess I just hate when people assume when certain things happen it's something bad. Like I wouldn't have gone to the date I would've declined and I would've mentioned the text to vinnie, but nope he had to read it himself.

"Next time don't read my stuff" I say annoyed and I sit up. He gives me a confused look. "I didn't mean to." How do you accidentally read something the fuck? "You didn't have to read the message you could've just said I got a text vincent, that's an invasion of privacy, I don't go through your shit" I say clearly annoyed.

Vinnie just nods at my words. "Why are you getting so defensive? Is it because you know you've done something wrong?" I roll my eyes at his words. Yes because receiving a text is so bad. "And what did I do vincent? All I did was get a text." "Yeah but clearly you gave him the impression that you wanted to be more than friends" he says sounding frustrated.

God he's so annoying. But he wasn't  wrong I did give jacob the impression of me liking him to make vinnie jealous. But I told vinnie that so I don't know why he's acting like I did something wrong.

"We're not even together vincent" he scoffs "you're right ellne we're not, but you asked me to stay the night and then you cuddled me, stop trying to lead me on its fucking irritating." "If i'm so damn irritating vincent them leave, nobody's keeping you here."

Vinnie gets up off the bed. "You're right I chose to be here because I let myself believe that you actually liked me, but no. You go on that date with jacob. Have fun with that." I didn't even get to speak before he took his stuff and left. Oh my god why do we always fucking argue.

We're not even dating and it's toxic. Maybe I should stay away from him? I don't need another toxic relationship. Not like we were going to be in one?

I decided I would give jacob a chance. So I say yes to the date. I hope he doesn't give me the ick, because I really need to focus on other people besides vinnie. It's just a little crush so it shouldn't be hard to get rid of right..?
