This is our answer!

BREAK!

"Thank you, guys." I spoke. "If not for us getting split, this case would have been unsolvable."

Hibiki burst out crying.

"I'm sorry, guys! I didn't mean to kill my sister and Shinji! Please! Vote me as the killer!"

That anthropologist is a terrible liar...

"A confession?" Sora asked, confused.

"Ugh! That's clearly a liar!" Mikado groaned. "I hate liars! Liar, liar, pants on fire!"

"The culprit is not me then." Hibiki said, deadpan.

"So that means the culprit is a woman." Syobai realized.

"A woman with... large breasts!" Teruya said.

"True woman build! Juicy!" Sora said excitedly.

"Yuck." I was disgusted. "Could you take your fetishes out of the courtroom, Sora?"

"I can be a bit of a pervert sometimes." Sora admitted.

"Anyways, I think we should cut to the chase." I spoke. "Shinji and Kanade were killed by blows to the heads."

"Let me break the ice in your argument!" Setsuka said, pointing at me. "I'll prove that Shinji was not killed like Kanade was!"

Nikei Yomiuri VS Setsuka Chiebukuro

Setsuka: You see, Shinji possibly couldn't have been killed by a blow to the skull.

Setsuka: Kanade was definitely killed with a blow to the skull.

Setsuka: But Shinji? It's unlikely that he was killed like her!

ADVANCE!

Setsuka: That leaves three theories: Shinji was killed by strangulation like Yuri. (Setsuka points at Yuri's portrait)

Setsuka: Shinji was killed like Emma by having his throat slit. (She points at Emma's portrait)

Setsuka: Or that Monocrow file's been fucking lying to us and his true cause of his death is unknown!

ADVANCE!

Setsuka: Regardless of which theory you believe, I don't think that Shinji was killed by getting bludgeoned by a hammer.

Setsuka: Kanade was bludgeoned too, you know! (She points to her portrait)

Setsuka: You're so dead Nikei.

Setsuka: You believe Shinji was bludgeoned to death like Kanade? You're only saying that to throw the rest of us off the trail!

Setsuka: At the rate we're going, it's only a matter of time before you get us all killed by voting for the wrong culprit!

ADVANCE!

Setsuka: There's no way that the culprit could have killed Shinji the same way they killed Kanade!

Truth Blades: Nikei's Autopsy and State of Shinji's Body

Nikei: Your words are paper to me!

BREAK!

"I have proof that Shinji was killed with a blow to his head." I spoke.

"What?" Mikado asked.

"During my autopsy, I did notice a lot of bruising upon his head. This makes me think that Shinji's cause of death was blunt force trauma." I explained.

"That's right!" Mikado said. "So he was bludgeoned with a hammer!"

"I also noticed something about Kanade's cause of death." I spoke.

"What?" Syobai said.

"I noticed that there was a drop of water on her cheek, and there was a stab wound in the back of her neck..."

"But that means," Teruya said in growing shock. "Kanade was not bludgeoned like Shinji!"

The gasps shot through us all like lightning.

"You're right, Teruya." I said. "It's possible that Kanade died of drowning, but not before getting stabbed in the back of her neck."

"Well, it looks like the wound caused by a blade of an ice skate..." Syobai commented.

Before anyone could react, however, Setsuka gasped loudly, her face rapidly draining of blood.

"NO!" She screamed. "I COVERED IT UP SO WELL!"

"She's clearly lying." Mikado said. "We shouldn't listen to anything that liar says. She's just going to throw out more lies."

"Miss Chiebukuro's probably telling the truth." Syobai said.

The Ultimate Detective has a pretty good point... But aren't ice skates something associated with a certain someone?

I stared around the courtroom, the knowledge of who'd committed the crime eating at me. I met their gaze, and, finally, after drawing breath and preparing myself mentally, spoke.

"Setsuka?" I glared. "There had better be a good explanation as to why you were silent about Kanade's true cause of death."
