It was late at night, and Annabeth and Percy were relaxing in their college dorms. After insisting that he finish his homework first, Annabeth came over to his room where Percy was sitting on the couch watching a movie. She sat next to him and he put his arms around her, pulling her close. Once the snacks were all gone and the movie was over, she kissed him goodnight and went back to her dorm. Two hours later, Annabeth tried to sneak back into his room when the hallway was empty because she realized it was their one-year anniversary from falling into Tartarus and needed to be with him. Coincidentally, he was about to go to her room for the same reason. Silently, they put their arms around each other and leaned against the wall, lost in memories. The next morning, the rest of the college students found them there in the hallway, staring into space and hugging. They decided to let them be, as they knew Percy and Annabeth were different in some way than everyone else. For the rest of the day, the two exchanged memories from the hellish place they'd been, loving thoughts about Bob and Damasen, and how they swore to never forget. At night, they stood on a balcony at the very top of the building and told the stars Bob said hello. It became a tradition for them to do it every year, and every year their hearts healed more and more, and their love for each other continued to grow. Because nothing could keep them apart, even Tartarus. Their love would always be stronger. Strongest.
