We got In the doctors office and I sat down on the chair, but as soon as I saw the nurse come in, I freaked out seeing the injection in her hands
"Oh hell to the no" I got up and nandini stood right in front of me
"Sit" she said and I sat back down like a lost puppy
"Im scared" I blurt out
"It won't even take a second"
"Hello mr Malhotra, so just a few viles today" the nurse said and the fucking injection
"No, nandini please please" I said holding her arm
"Mr Malhotra it won't even hurt, ill be gentle" the nurse said like it was supposed to comfort me but it did the opposite
"Nandini please" I was tearing up now
I know it's so fucking stupid but I am scared of needles, injections freak me out. This is why I was anxious the whole day, I just hate the feeling of needles plus they hurt so bad
"Nandini" I was on the verge of crying
"Look at me mani" she said and I looked in her eyes
"Im right here, I won't let her hurt you and this needle, its so tiny, you won't even feel it" she said
"It gonna hurt" I wined, tears almost falling down
"Shh" she said ruffling my hair making me shove my face in her stomach as she was standing infant of me
She held me close while caressing my hair and back, I held onto her for dear life while the nurse took the blood, I felt the needle going it making me clutch Nandini's back
"Shh, jsut a few more second, you are doing so good hun" she whispered sweet things in my ear
"The reports will take about 30 minutes so stay here and the doctor will be with you" the nurse said leaving
"It hurts" I mummbled in her stomach
"Let me make it better" she said sitting down infront of me
"Let me see" she said and I forwarded my arm to her
She caressed around the bandage and kissed the spot a couple times.
"See it's okay"
"No it hurts, it's gonna bleed" I said and she shook her head
"It will not, just breath okay"
"Nandini"
"Manik shh, breath. I am thinking of making rajma tonight with Raita. You like it na and I can also make some brownies for dessert" she said
"You would do that for me" I asked resting my chin on her stomach
"Yes sir I would, now tell me do you want anything else"
"No umm just rajma is good, I'm sleepy" I said feeling drowsy
"You can't sleep right now but maybe once we are home you can nap until I finish cooking"
"No it's okay I will cook with you"
"I can do it, and you are sleepy right"
"I am but its okay, can we sleep early" I asked and she nodded
"We also have college tom" she said and I shook my head
"I am not interested" I said and she chuckled
"And what exactly does that mean"
"That means you go to college im not coming with you"
"I thought you would wanna spend more time with me and not let Ricky be my lab partner but I mean if you"
"Excuse me who is this Ricky" I asked
"My Chem lab partner, I must say he is actually cute"
"The heck do you mean he is cute, you are taken, taken by me okay so don't even think about it and if he even tries I will make sure he cannot walk for weeks, cute my foot" I said and se giggled
"Giggling is not allowed, damit. I will punch him" I said getting angry
Who even is this Ricky, I have never heard his name and hoesntly I don't care I will fuck him up if he comes close to nandini, she is mine.
"You will not go punching people, just come to college with me" she said caressing my forehead
"Why are you so mean" ia asked and she chuckled
"Because sometimes I am dealing with a little kid who is stubborn and will not listen so I have to resort to ways that are mean" sh said kissing my head
"Tum na"
"Hmm mai na"
"Tum mer life ki sabsai Badi blessing ho" I said and she smiled hearing me
"And you are my little blessing" she said kissing my head again
"Can we go home" I asked
"Not yet, we need your reports"
"I know but I can have him call me, you don't look too well to me so let's just go" I said leaving her waist getting up
I chuckled seeing how small and tiny she is when I fully stand up, she knew why I chuckled becasue she pouted like a baby
"I am not tiny" she said
"Nope, you are not, I am just tall right" I asked and she nodded
"Lets go home" I said and she shook her head
"It's only gonna be a little bit longer, lets just stay"
"But you don't look too good"
"Hey excuse you, I look amazing look at me" she said twirling around moving away from me
"Ya you do, you look gorgeous but I can tell you aren't feeling well" I said and she walked back to me resting her chin on my chest
"I am just a little dizzy but that's okay" she said closing her eyes a little
"Dizzy, what the fuck Nandini?"
"Shittt" she mumbled, she didn't mean to say that I could tell
"When the heck were you gonna tell me that you feel dizzy, I just thought, never mind, tell me what's going on" I asked making her sit beside me
"Nothing is going on, don't stress too much. I'm okay, just a little dizzy could be just random" she said holding onto my arm
"Nandini I don't play with you health you know this so out with it"
"Gussa mat ho" she whispered looking down
Before I could say anything the doctor walked in with my reports
"Hey, is eveyrhitng okay" I asked
"Ya you are good to go, sorry it took me a while"
"All good, thanks" I said and he nodded
"Take care of yourself young man and do not forget your vitamins" he said making me chuckle
"Yes uncle" I said walking out of there with nandini who mummbled a thank you to uncle as well
