Chapter - 36

Sean Peterson's POV:

My eyes widen on seeing the vedio that's being played in the headlines of the nation's news channel and Daniel too shared the same look as mine.

"One of the biggest multimillionaire company in South Central Europe, Aztec Solutions is involved in the drug trafficking business for the first time in the history!". Says the news anchor and i couldn't take my eyes off from the lap screen.

"The Department of Police Security have witnessed a shipment full of Cannabis found in the business transactions that's been actually held my Aztec Solutions!". Flashes the news and Daniel lost his shit.

"What the hell is all this? This can't be true!". He yelled at no one in  particular and punched in the air.

"I wonder where the great multimillionaires, Mr. Adams and Mr. Peterson is hiding after this revelation of their company?". Came another news readers sarcastic comment and I gritted my teeth.

Shooking his head, my father closed the laptop screen and glared at us.

"Listen Sean, I knew that you and Daniel would ever involve in such kinda activities. But it doesn't mean any of your business partners will work the same way. Before the issue goes out of my hand, stop this nonsense and give reasonable justification to the new channel's!".

He advised and patted on my shoulders. I gave him a nod before he walked away from us.

I am glad that my dad didn't believe in whatever the news channel have just blabbered because I and Daniel will never do anything that would bring bad name to our parents.

But I still can't believe that our nine consecutive years of hard work is going into waste because of someone else's mistake. I won't let this happen because I know how much effort Daniel and I have put into this business to bring it to the number one position in South East Europe.

"Sean, I left this under your supervision and see what had happened?". Daniel growled and that broke my chain of thoughts.

"Don't blame me! I can't be responsible for people who stabs me at my back". I snapped at him too because he is talking nonsense.

"You idiot.......". He was about to grab me by my collars but I took a step back when I heard Jenifer's voice from behind.

"What are you both fighting about?". Came my sister's ever sweet voice as she walked towards us and stood infront of us.

"Nothing, Jen! Come here". Daniel spoke and gestured her to come closer to him.

She smiled and took steps towards him. He cupped her cheeks and placed a kiss on her forehead and that sight is worth dying for because no one else on this earth could love my sister more than my brother, friend, Daniel!

"But you looks like you are tensed about something! What's wrong, Daniel?". She asked him with those innocent eyes and circled her hands around his torso.

"Its just a work call, Jen! Nothing that your Daniel can't handle". He replied and hugged her after placing a soft kiss on the top of her head. She hugged him back and buried her face into his chest happily.

After calming his wife, he looked at me and gave me a nod indicating that we should be get going before this issue goes out of our hand.

We both bid goodbye to Jenifer and drove off in my car to our office.

"Who do you think would have dared to do this, Sean?". Came Daniels voice beside me from the passengers seat as I drove the car.

"I don't have any idea but if I get to touch that motherfucker, he would regret doing this!". I spoke with gritted teeth because I literally lost it when my father questioned me.
