I was in an urgent meeting to close a deal to upgrade our mafia's security when I got an unexpected call from my mother,

She usually never calls only if there's something bad happening in our warehouses or someone is in danger.

- Hi mom, is everything fine? I have something urgent right now and i can't talk for long

- Hello greyson, yes everything is ok, I'm just calling to let you know that we have to attend to a dinner tonight at the spanish mafia's mansion.

- What the fuck do you mean? Spanish mafia?? Since when are we even on speaking terms with them??

-Listen Grey you'll know everything about it after. But for now, finish your deal and join us in two hours at their mansion.

Sighing, I ended the call and got back to my meeting wondering what could they have done to want me to clean up their own mess with these people.

Arriving at my house, I took a shower and changed into a black sleeve shirt and some black joggers.

To say i wasn't eager at all to see their daughter again was an understatement.

I just don't get her, she's always sweet and stuff even if we haven't been friends in years.

We used to be friends, I guess.

Until she got with another guy when i clearly had feelings for her so i just gave up.

I started giving her the cold shoulder and she did the same.

I guess she moved on but i clearly didn't.

Let's hope nothing will be awkward tonight or else i will shoot anyone and everyone

I got into my car and drove off to their property

I knew I'd be late but did I give a fuck?

I took the longer way to be there because I really didn't have the patience for anyone at the moment

But arriving there, I was met with a beautiful pair of green eyes

She was in the garden admiring some red roses in her hands

While I was admiring her.
