After knowing one of Winter's biggest secrets, Karina couldn't help but fall more in love with the younger girl. The fact that Winter managed to hide her pain about her father left great thoughts in Karina's mind, and Karina couldn't be more impressed than ever.

Winter is amazing.

After deciding to take a break from their work today, Winter woke up that morning enjoying the view and touch of her sleeping girlfriend. Even after waking up, Winter just stayed on the bed mesmerizing Karina's beauty for 20 minutes, slightly fixing Karina's hair behind her ear before deciding to wake up for the day.

Winter headed downstairs and ordered some takeaway food from her food delivery app. She then sat on the couch in the living room and enjoyed Netflix before her phone suddenly rang.

It was Ningning.

"Hello?"

"Oh lord, Winter. You're on sick leave today? With Karina??", Ningning's voice thru the phone is somehow worried and demanding answers. But remembering the real reason for their leave today, Winter couldn't help but smile like a fool.

"Yes, we are"

"Did you guys somehow play in the rain yesterday and have a fever today? Oh-oh! Don't tell me you guys drank too much yesterday and ended up puking all night??"

Winter almost laughs. She did. But because Karina was sleeping upstairs, she tried to hold it in. Winter scoffed at Ningning's prediction.

"No Ning. Last night... we kinda emm... did--"

"Oh-oh!! Is she at your house, Winter?"

"Yeah"

"You did... that?"

"Uhuh", Winter answered shortly, and in a second, Ningning shrieked like a freak thru the phone. Winter pulled the phone off her ears because Ningning's shrieks might damage her eardrums.

"Oh my god, bestie! You are crazy! Did you propose to her yet? Tell me you did!"

"No, I didn't. I didn't tell her yet the reason behind all of this...", Winter scratched her neck shyly remembering the fact she was struggling with the 'top floor cleaner' thing for 3 years. Karina didn't know yet, and Winter planned to tell her soon and make the older girl eternally hers soon.

"You should tell her. Tell her she was your mother's last wish. Tell her that you wanted to make her yours eternally!"

The moment Winter heard those words from Ningning through the phone, Karina came down with her sleepy smile. Her eyes were half open. She's wearing Winter's thigh-level shirt. The way her sleek hair was down in a messy form and the way her tiny playful smile sway Winter in awe.

How come someone who just woke up from her sleep can look like a goddess?

"Morning, Winter~", Karina smiled as she walk downstairs, coming towards Winter on the couch. Winter couldn't stop herself from smiling back in reply.

"I gotta go, Ning. Karina's coming. Bye", and before Ningning can say anything, Winter already ends the call. She's sure that her best friend gonna be furious about that later and will give another earful nags tomorrow.

Karina sat right next to Winter and put her head on Winter's shoulder. Winter wrapped her hands around Karina's waist before giving a soft peck on the older girl's head.

"Ningning called", Winter said shortly before giving another kiss on Karina's forehead.

"Really?", Karina asked.
