2 Weeks later

CHRISTINA'S POV:

Lauren is doing really great, a week ago she start with school again which she really liked. The company is also doing really great so we work less. So the little onces went of a camp with school for a week, Alex, Lauren and Dani are at school and the rest is at home. We were just watching a movie when Alex and Dani walked in.

Hi guys, Where is Lauren?- I asked

We didn't see her in school and we didn't see her car eighter so we thought maybe she already left- Alex told us. I looked at the rest.

I'll call her- Lisa said and I nodded.

So how was your day?- I asked Dani and Alex

It was OK but a lot of people asked about what happened to Lauren and us- Dani said.

Yeah I mean even the teachers were asking hunderds of questions- Alex said

Well I think they will stop after a week or something- Mike said and they nodded

Well go do your homework and Amy and I'll make dinner- Kathrine said, Alex and Dani walked upstairs and Amy and Kathrine walked to the kitchen. Lisa walked towards us looking worried

She isn't picking up- Lisa said, Mike and I got also worried

Maybe Jess knows where she is- I said already calling Jess.

Hello?- I heard Jess

Hi Jess! It's me Christina- I said

Ow hi Christina what's up?- Jess asked

Well Lauren isn't picking her phone and Dani and Alex also don't know where she is so we are a bit worried, do you know where she is?- I asked

Well the last time I saw her she was talking to Becca and I heard her saying something about going to the woods but I really don't know where they were talking about- Jess said

But Becca and Lauren hate each other why would they go to the woods together?- I asked worried

I really don't know, I didn't see her after school and she as you said isn't picking up- Jess said

Ok, Well we will go look for her and thank you by the way- I said

Anytime- Jess said and we hung up. Mike and Lisa were already walking to Mike's car. We drove to the woods, we arrived at the woods and got out.

Alright we should split up but keep your phone out loud and be carefull- Mike told us and we nodded. Mike went to our right, I went to our left and Lisa just went straight into the woods. After 10 minutes looking I still didn't find Lauren, Mike was calling me

Did you find her?- I asked

No but when I tried to call Lisa she didn't pick up- Mike said worried

Alright let's walk to where she supposed to look and we will try to find her- I told him

Alright but please be carefull- He said

I'll- I said and we hung up. I hope nothing bad happened to Lisa and Lauren. I walked for like 5 minutes and then I saw Mike looking around. He walked towards me looking worried

Chris what if something bad happened to them- Mike said

Don't think like that, maybe Lisa's phone died and got lost and maybe Lauren isn't here- I said and he just nodded not believing me, I must admit I didn't believe myself. We were just walking around looking for Lauren and Lisa but then we heard a scream. I looked at Mike

It sounded like Lisa- Mike said, we run towards the scream and saw Lisa, Ryan, Lauren and Becca. Ryan was holding Lisa and Becca was beating up Lauren. Mike pushed Ryan away and I stopped Becca.

Dad look the 2 oldest siblings are here- Becca said to Ryan

Dad?- Mike asked confused and shocked

Yes Becca is my daughter, that's why she is hurting Lauren- Ryan said smirking. I looked at Lauren and saw that her eyes were barely open. I knelt to her side

Christina?- Lauren said

I'm here- I said. Ryan and Becca start to laugh and Lisa and Mike gasped, I looked up and saw Ryan pointing a gun to Mike, I stood up.

Ryan please don't do it- I begged and he laughed

What if I do? You will lose an another one in your family right? Your family will breakdown just like I want to- Ryan said

Why are you doing this to us?- Lisa asked crying, I hugged her tight

Because Your Mom broke my heart!- Ryan screamed, we looked confused

I met her at the bar, I loved her, we had a great night but 2 nights later I saw her with an another guy making out in front of my face, she knew I loved her but still broke my heart, This is my revenge on that- Ryan said looking at Mike

But it isn't fair!- I said

I don't care- Ryan said and then we heard a gunshot, But it didn't hit Mike. Lauren jumped in front of him and got shot in her chest. Ryan and Becca run away laughing. Mike called an ambulance while Lisa and I begged Lauren to stay awake. After a while the ambulance arrived and we drove to the hospital really fast. Mike also called to others at told them to come to the hospital. Lisa was crying her eyes out in the waiting room, Mike was looking at the ground trying not to cry and I was holding Lisa in my arms hugging her tight.

Christina what if she doens't make it- Lisa cried

shhhhh, don't think like that- I said tearing up

But...- Lisa said but I cut her off

Lisa please don't think like that she will make it- I said and she nodded, then the rest of the family came in running and looking worried

What happened?!- Kathrine screamed, and I start to explain everything. After I was done the doctor walked in. We all stood up.

Lauren is stable now and you can go see her, she can leave tonight if she want but she needs to take it easy- The doctor told us, we followed him to her room and run inside where we saw Lauren looking a bit tired but she smiled when she saw us.

Hi guys- She said weakly. We al hugged her expect Mike who didn't look at her, Lauren looked confused

Mike- Lauren said, Mike didn't say anything and start to walk away

Wait Mike!- Lauren screamed, Mike turned around and we saw he was crying. He walked to Lauren and hugged her tight

I'm sorry, I'm so sorry- Mike said over and over again

Mike it's OK- Lauren said

No it isn't- Mike said

Mike stop blaming youself and smile a bit because as you can see I'm OK- Lauren said, Mike smiled and hugged Lauren again.

So when can I leave?- Lauren asked me

Tonight- Kathrine answered for me

So I'll be able to eat dinner at home?- Lauren asked and we laughed

Yes you'll- I said and she smiled

Great because I don't like the hospital food- Lauren said innocent and we start to laugh again.
