"I miss him too, Archimedes." You whispered, petting his head.
Archimedes just made coo sounds back to you. You rested your head, closed your eyes, and falling asleep.
~
"Calm down, Archimedes, it's me!" You heard, slowly waking up.
You sat up, turning to see Ludwig being circled by Archimedes.
"Ludwig?" You said, getting up from his desk and walking over to you. "Is... that really you?"
"It's really me, Liebe," Ludwig whispered, smiling at you.
You reach your hand out and hesitate to put it on Ludwig's cheek. As your hand touches his cheek, you look deep into his eyes, they were no longer dark like they were when Master was in control. Ludwig's eyes were as blue as the sky. You smiled, hugging Ludwig tightly and he hugged you back.
"You came back, you really came back." You cried.
"Of course, I vasn't going to let him keep jou away from me..." Ludwig whispered, running his fingers through your hair. "I'm so sorry he hurt jou like zhis..."
"It's okay, it wasn't you, it was all master!" You told him, wiping your tears. "How did you get control again?"
"It took a lot to fight my own mind demon, but vanting to see jou again kept me fighting," Ludwig explained. "I locked him away deep in my mind."
"Do you still hear him?" You asked curiously.
"Nope, he's been quiet ever since... it's actually... amazing not hearing him." Ludwig sighed, you can tell it was a relief to finally be free of Master's voice.
You smiled, pulling Ludwig into a kiss. The kiss was sweet and tender, it gave you butterflies in your stomach. You two stay like this for a while before Ludwig pulled away, smiling at you.
"I miss your kisses," Ludwig whispered.
"I miss a lot of things about you." You smirked.
Ludwig let out a soft laugh.
"Well, we have all the time in the world to reconnect," Ludwig said, before giving you another kiss.
Spy
You walked into your small apartment holding a bag from the store, tired from a long day. You put the bag down, closing the door behind you. You just felt so stressed and empty since you left Jacques. You hated him so much... but part of you still missed him.
"You're finally home." You heard a voice behind you.
You quickly turned to see Jacques leaning against the door frame of your living room.
"What the hell are you doing here, you cheating crab?!" You insulted Jacques. "How did you even... why am I even questioning it, you're a spy I shouldn't even be surprised you found me."
Jacques sighed, moving closer to you.
"Look, I just want to talk to you... please." Jacques begged.
"I told you, you made your grave and you should lie in it." You said, looking away from him.
"Look, I get it, you're angry and you have every right to be..." Jacques said. "I never should have cheated on you... I love you so much, (Y/N) and I can't live without you..."
You didn't say a word, keeping your back to Jacques.
"I understand if you don't want to but I want to fix things, I don't care what I have to do... I just want to be with you again and I'll never betray your trust like this ever again." Jacques' voice cracked. "Just please... give me a second chance."
You turned to look at Jacques, your arms were crossed and you were holding back tears.
"I want to hate you... I want to punch you so damn hard in your perfect fucking face for what you did to me... but I can't." You admitted. "I miss you so much... even though you hurt me..."
You moved closer to Jacques, grabbing his tie and looking at him.
"I'd... be willing to try again... but it's going to take some time before I trust you again." You told him.
"That's alright, I have all the time in the world..." Jacques said, with a hopeful smile.
You sighed, giving him a small smile back.
Soldier
You felt like you were going to die. Even with the coat, it was still so cold outside. Maybe you should have listened to Misha and stayed inside but you knew you couldn't stay there, not after what you saw. Your heart broke the more you thought about what happened.
You tripped over a rock, falling to the ground. You groaned, trying to get up but you were so weak and you fell again.
'This is it... I'm going to die here and I'll probably be eaten by a bear...' You thought to yourself.
You slowly close your eyes, passing out.
~
When you opened your eyes, you noticed you were in a shelter. You sat up, looking at the fire and you noticed Jane, leaning against the wall next to the fire. Jane turned his head and pushed his helmet up.
"You're awake!" Jane said, sitting up.
"Jane... where are we, what happened?" You asked, backing up to keep your distance.
"I found you passed out, I couldn't get you back to Misha's house before the storm got worse but luckily we passed this abandoned house," Jane explained. He sighed, hugging his legs a bit. "This was all my fault, you almost died because I broke your heart by cheating on you..."
You were actually surprised Jane realized he did something wrong.
"Why did you do it? Why did you want to sleep with her?" You asked.
"Because I let my stupid mind make decisions, she came on to me and my mind thought it was good because not many girls come on to me, but I should have realized I have one perfect girl already and I don't need to sleep with any other," Jane explained. "I'm so sorry, (Y/N). Can we please get back together!"
You sighed, thinking about it for a moment.
"How could I know you won't cheat on me again Jane?" You asked.
"I know there is not much I can say to make you believe me but I swear on America if you give me a second chance I'll never hurt you again," Jane told you.
You looked at Jane, usually, when Jane swore to America he was being honest.
"Okay, but we have to go slow." You said. "I don't want to rush back into a relationship like nothing happened, you need to earn my trust again."
Jane smiled, holding your hand.
"Of course, we can go as slow as you want!" Jane told you, finally getting you to give Jane a little smile.
