"I am Lord Sesshomaru, you are?" Sesshomaru introduced wanting to change the subject as the little girl looked ready to cry, he still wasn't very good with emotions.

"I'm Hadleigh Iris Potter." She greeted now smiling brightly. "I've never had anyone ask what my name was before." She giggled excitedly. Sesshomaru was surprised to learn no one had asked the little girl her name before, it was actually sad. "Oh, I am also 6 years old." She added with a smile as she held six fingers up.

"A baby is what you are compared to me." He said smirking at the little girl as she blushed, her cheeks puffed.

"I'm not a baby, I know how to clean, cook, garden, and other things too, I'm olde enough." She exclaimed with narrowed eyes.

Sesshomaru smirked, she looked like a little puppy who has been scolded. "Hadleigh?" He questioned softly, feeling his wounds had closed up.

"Yes?"

"If I could take you away, would you take the chance?" He asked her gently.

Hadleigh blinked in surprise. "Far away, or just safer?" She questioned.

"Far away, and safer, I want to take you from these hideous people, somewhere, where you can grow up as a normal child and see the world through different eyes." He whispered to her, such honeyed words, that Hadleigh teared up, before lunging into his arms, sobbing.

"I wanna go far away." She cried out.

Wrapping his arms around her petit form, Sesshomaru lifted off the ground before carrying her away from the mortals that had hurt the little girl. Hadleigh felt the wind caress her face, she opened her eyes to see that they were flying over London, eyes now wide in wonder she giggled as she saw the lights of London. "Wow!" She cheered giggling away. "Oh look, they look like ants." She laughed gleefully, not at all deterred by the height.

Sesshomaru smirked, he was happy that she wasn't frightened of being so high, then a thought appeared, he hummed softly as he continued to fly over the cities, Hadleigh watched as the city life became sparse, and the countryside soon took over, the beautiful green grass greeting them as Sesshomaru landed on the ground. Though he did not put Hadleigh on the ground. He continued to carry her, over to an old lake.

"Sesshy?" She questioned gently. And that was new as well, the young girl had difficulty in saying his full name, she tried and tried, and tried but she couldn't say it properly, so he allowed her to give him a nickname, thus the birth of Sesshy. "What's going on?" She asked.

"Hadleigh, as you can tell I'm no normal being, I am a powerful inu daiyōkai, a dog demon. I can turn you into an inu daiyōkai, but only if you want it." He said to her, Hadleigh could tell he was serious, something in her told her just how serious he was being. Blinking Hadleigh looked at the water, seeing just how small she was in his arms. She knew she was unhealthy, weak.

Sesshomaru waited patiently for her to answer. "I accept," she said firmly, eyes determined.

A feral grin grew on Sesshomaru's face as he threw the girl into the water. Hadleigh gasped in surprise, though there was no fear, she just let herself sink into the lake. Above the water Sesshomaru watched as the water begun to glow, raising his hand his cut his wrist letting his blood fall into the lake's water. It grew brighter and brighter, taking his hand away the skin stitched itself back together as he floated over to the middle of the lake. He looked into the deep water, seeing Hadleigh at the bottom, her raven locks changed into his silver colour, single magenta stripes grew on her cheeks, and a crescent moon on her forehead.

Thankfully the soul piece inside her head been banished back to the original owner, the lightening scar now gone for good, and any concoctions he had sensed had been wiped from her system. He knew she wasn't human fully; he knew she was a witch; he was the Great Sesshomaru, nothing got past him. Hadleigh's eyes then flashed open, staring into his gold eyes, hers reflecting the colour back, before changing into the emerald green she was born with. Her hair now down to her ankles flowed around her showing her pointed ears.

She would be severely sought after by anyone. He would need to teach her how to protect herself. When her hands broke the surface of the lake Sesshomaru picked her up, holding her in his arms. She was now a miniature version of him, just with green eyes.

Her inner Yokai sensed who the person in front of her was now, so with a smile she rubbed her nose into his neck taking in her papa's scent. Sesshomaru smiled as he did the same, his sweet little pup. Gently he set her feet on the grass, letting her get used to the powers she now holds. "Papa!" She cried as she ran around seeing the world through different eyes. "I feel something." She said to him.

Sesshomaru knew exactly what she was feeling before shifting into his dog-demon form. Hadleigh's eyes widened before she laughed and let the feeling take over, her own dog-demon form appearing. She was of course smaller than her papa's and she would grow a tiny bit more in time, but she would always be smaller than him.

With her tongue lolling out of her mouth, she started running around, trying to get used to her four feet, of course she had tripped a few times, but she didn't care, she was having fun for once in her life. Sesshomaru continued to follow his young pup, as he thought of what he would need to do to keep Hadleigh with him, he had heard tales of the wizarding world, so he would need to make a visit with his pup to the goblins.

Because no one would take his pup from him. After all he is a possessive demon.
