***Warning Abuse of a Child***
"You are stupid, insolent, and pathetic girl!" Hadleigh's Uncle roared at her, his face purple from the lack of air. The young girl shivered in fear, her emerald eyes wide in fear as she huddled into a corner, her arms shielding her head as he beat her arms with a belt. The girl screamed in pain, it was heartbreaking to hear the child scream, it made the world weep. She shook violently as her uncle's heavy breaths was the only thing heard. "You are nothing but a dog, and dog's sleep outside!" He roared grabbing her bleeding arms and throwing her out into the cold night.
Landing in a heap the small girl curled into a tight ball sobbing. What had she done, she didn't know, he just came home angry, and took it out on her. Hadleigh lifted her head before dragging herself to the tree in the back corner of her aunt and uncle's home. She made sure to hide behind the towering tree, before looking down at her arms, blood was everywhere. Shaking her head Hadleigh started ripping her shirt, wrapping the fabric around her arms, hopefully they wouldn't get too badly infected. Sniffling she rested her head on her knees, looking at the fence in front of her, the only thing holding her back from running.
She didn't sleep at all that night fear was in her heart, scared that her uncle would come out and beat her again. No one in the street ever realised just what the small girl had been going through, no one came to help her when she would scream, everyone was scared of the Dursley family. It had to have been two in the morning when Hadleigh heard a noise, startled the little girl crawled over to the fence and peaked through seeing someone gritting their teeth, pain in their eyes. Though she had to admit, they were hiding the pain well. Biting her lip, she slipped through the gap in the fence and walked over to the person. She titled her head seeing that this person appears as a handsome, tall, and slender young man. He has fair skin with pointed ears, slanted golden eyes with slit pupils, and knee-length silver hair with short bangs. He has a violet crescent moon on his forehead that Hadleigh could just see under his bangs, two magenta stripes on each cheek, and a magenta stripe on each eyelid.
"Hello." She greeted with a timid voice, still laced with pain. The young man's eyes flashed towards her, glowing under the moons light. "Do you want help at all?" She asked gently, not stepping close to him as she didn't want to be in his space.
"I am fine human." He muttered to her, but his eyes narrowed seeing the bloody shirt wrappings on her arms, and the blood that drenched her. "What happened to you?" he asked, completely out of character for himself, but he was hurt, and the last time a human helped him was his sweet Rin.
Hadleigh bit her lip before answering softly. "My Uncle was mad, and I was the thing he needed to use to get rid of his anger."
The young man frowned, annoyance in his eyes. "You are a child; you should not be attacked for no reason." He growled.
"But there is a reason, I'm a freak, and they need to beat the freakiness out of me." She stated with wide eyes. "I have to be normal." She whispered sadly.
