Len has anxiety and was actually selective mute for the longest time (which led to...not-so-nice treatment from the higher ups—) before he was slowly brought out of his shell.

Kaito played a big part in helping him because they connected and Len got comfortable around him, and since Kaito's a magnificent himbo and its basically impossible to hate him, he learned how to open up to others...
