Y/n (16) POV.
I was sitting in a corner with a black hoodie on with the hood up while drawing on the exposed skin of my ripped jeans and listening to music with my headphones. Sunny was playing with the kids but kept looking over at me. After looking at me for a while he walked over to me and crouched down "well aren't you a little to old to be in the daycare?" He said jokingly. I had my music down so I could hear him. I slid my headphones down onto my neck and looked up at him. "Sunny?" I asked kinda quietly "yes?" He questioned back
"How do you feel about me?" I asked
"I'm not sure what you mean by that y/n" I looked away at the ground before looking back at him "what am I to you, sundrop?" He looked confused but also a little cautious at the fact that I just called him by his name "uhh my best friend?" He said questionably
"D-do you love me?" He smiled and said
"Of course I do! I love all the kids here and all my friends!" I let out a slight
"huh" before looking down and saying"..ok..."
He hugged me and I leaned my head on his chest hugging him back "but you'll always be my favorite" I smiled at that and slightly blushed.
Time skip
I slid down the slide of the daycare and went over to sunny looking sad "hey- uh what's wrong? Are you ok?" I shook my head and went over to the security desk and found a way to dim the lights. Soon enough I was faced with eclipse and I looked down and started crying. I hadn't cried since the moment I first got left there.
Eclipse ran over to me and hugged me "hey what's wrong darling?"
"I...I.." I couldn't say anything and just hugged him crying till I passed out. When I woke up I was in their room and eclipse was brushing threw my hair with his fingers "oh ur awake, is everything ok?" He asked. I looked at him and hugged him "I-I'm moving to another state so I won't get to see you anymore.." he hugged me back and pet my head just holding me in his lap for now "it'll be ok.."
"No it won't.."
"We'll see each other again, I promise" he said softly.
I looked up at him with tear filled eyes and kissed him. He sat there wide eyes and shocked "I love you eclipse... all of you.. and I'm so sorry" I got up and ran off and out of the daycare. "W-wait y/n c-come back where are you going?!" He shouted after me but I kept running and didn't look back to afraid that I had just ruined our friendship and any chance I had with him.
