"Big bro! Guess what!"

You looked down at your younger brother, who seemed happier than usual.

"What happened?"

He jumped at you, prompting you to catch and carry him.

"School's ending earlier now! That means I can play longer now!"

This was a revelation that wouldn't work out for you. Were you just supposed to let Tooru stay at his school for hours while you were still at the Highschool? Of course not!

"Hey Tooru, what do you think about walking home with Hajime?"

He didn't know why you were asking him something like this, but answered you anyways.

"If he was our neighbor then maybe. But if I did, then he'd leave me when we get to his house! Then I'd be alone!"

You winced at the word. Alone. Loneliness was something you wanted to make sure your younger brother never had to go through.

You continued the walk home in silence, not sure of what you were going to do.

The silence was broken,
"Hey nii chan, can we have curry for dinner?"

Much to his confusion, you let out a laugh before answering him,
"Sure Tooru, whatever you want,"

"That does seem like quite the dilemma,"

You walked down the hallway with your friend.

"I don't know what I'm gonna do! I wish I didn't get so attached to him..."

"I think it's nice how close you are with your brother! Especially considering the difference in age,"

You let out a sigh as you entered the classroom,
"Yeah, I guess your right. I just wish he wasn't so... dependent on me! He's six years old!"

The two of you sat down in your seats, and your teacher walked into the room, holding a stack of papers.

"I have an announcement! Starting now, there will be a designated club time during school. This is optional for students, and does not interfere with after-school activities,"

You tried thinking about if there were any clubs you wanted to join. Before now, it wasn't really an option, you had to walk your brother home if course. But now, you could actually join one!

"The clubs will have an exhibition event, so I'd recommend taking a look at them,"

You looked at Takeda, and he nodded at you, giving you the confirmation that the two of you would look together.

"The volleyball team seemed cool, right?"

"Yeah, but I'm not sure that I'm cut out for it..."

You playfully punched him in the shoulder,
"Sure you are! You're amazing at everything you do Takeda!"

"Really?"

You looked to the side,
"Well... most things..."

He clicked his tongue and looked away from you, annoyance displayed on his face.

"Aww c'mon Ittetsu, I didn't mean that as an insult!"

He relented, the anger in his face disappearing,
"I know..."

"Anyways, the next club is up here, I think it's the... babysitting club?"

"That seems fitting for you, (f/n)!"

You groaned,
"I already do enough babysitting already,"

The two of you decided to go anyways, and as soon as you opened the door of the room, you were jumped on by a tiny person.

"Nii chan! I came to see you!"

At that moment in time, you knew your fate was sealed.

You gave him a hug, and noticed a teacher from the Tooru's school approaching you.

"Oh (f/n)! It's good to see you. Are you joining the babysitting club?"

You looked around the room, seeing very young children in awe of the Highschool.

"Oh actually, I was just looking around, I was gonna-"

You heard sniffling, and looked down to see your brother teary-eyed.

You scooped him up,
"Tooru? What's wrong?"

He wiped his face on your shirt before answering,
"You don't want to spend time with me?"

You pinched one of cheeks, trying to stop him from crying,
"What? Of course not! You didn't let me finish my sentence, I was about to say I was gonna submit my application!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! Your nii chan is gonna be your babysitter too now! I mean I already pretty much was,"

Takeda watched as you were manipulated by your younger brother, and couldn't help but feel bad.

"I'll join too (f/n)! That way it won't be as bad!"

You looked at him with joyful eyes,
"Really Takeda? That means a lot to me!"

You brought your younger brother to your friend.

"Tooru, you remember Ittetsu, right?"

He nodded, and you plopped him down in front of your friend with glasses.

"I'm gonna go get the forms, I'll be right back,"

You walked off, leaving the two alone together.

Takeda crouched down to your younger brother, holding up a hand for a high-five.

"Hi Tooru! I'm your nii chan's best friend!"

The younger Oikawa didn't say anything back to him, only pouting before sitting down on the ground.

Takeda was confused to what was happening, awkwardly letting his hand fall to the side, and he swore he could see the little Oikawa glaring at him.

"I'm back! Here's the application,"

He timidly took the application, now feeling like he wasn't cut out for the role.

"Actually, I'm not-"

You wrapped an arm around his shoulder,
"Thanks again Ittetsu! If it was just me, I'd probably die!"

Suddenly he felt as though he wouldn't be able to refuse to join, but if it helped you, then why not?

From the distance you spotted a small child, who seemed to slightly resemble someone else you knew. But before you could investigate, the bell rung, meaning that the club period had ended.

You waved goodbye to your brother,
"I'll be back for you later Tooru!"

"Bye nii chan!"

You left with Takeda, who couldn't help but feel like your brother didn't like him that much.

"Isn't it kind of odd that there were so many kids there? Don't they usually start walking home by themselves by that age?"

It was a valid question that your friend had brought up, and it was one you pondered as well.

"I think it might be because of that one new TV show that came out someone being kidnapped. I guess parents are just being cautious right now,"

He accepted that answer, and the two of you walked to your next class.
