Travelling to new lands

Episode 10: Breakout Star

The Plantars were around the table playing a card game, Hop Pop asked Polly "Hmm. Got any threes?" 

"I ain't telling you nothing, old man" Polly answered, 

Pika then burst out from the basement, "where's my bandana? Where is it!" Pika asked asked quickly as they ran though the house 

"Why are you running around?" Hop-pop asked 

"Life is being a pain in the ass to me right now! Look at this!" Pika answered before showing the Plantars their face covered in pimples which caused the Plantars to gasp 

"their diseased!" Sprig yelled, they then pulled out weapons 

"We have to quarantine them!" Hop-pop yelled 

"Don't struggle, Pika." Polly commanded 

"Hold up guys! it's not a disease. These are pimples or acne, can't tell which one it is but It's just a human thing" Pika informed 

"Oh. False alarm, everyone. Just a human thing" Hop-pop said relieved, 

Sprig sighs with relief "Okay" 

"fuck sakes" Pika groaned before continuing "Everybody already treats me like a monster. This is just gonna make it ten times worse" 

"Ah, come on. No one treats you like a monster, Pika" Sprig reassured 

"You're joking right? I can't even go outside without making a scene" Pika said slightly annoyed

Flashback

Pika walks through town while humming as a villager screams "Ah! It's hideous" and another says "Look away, Teddy. Look away" and more villagers scream 

"fuck... that hurts, like a lot" Pika muttered as the frogs ran away

End of flashback

"Okay, fair point, fair point. But who cares what they think? We like you" Sprig says trying to bring Pika's mood up 

"yep, I'm going to go hide in the basement until this clears up or i make it a bunch of scars" Pika says, 

As they were about to leave the room Hop-pop stops them "Sorry, Pika, but nobody's hiding anywhere today. I need help at the vegetable stand. We got a bumper crop of scream beans that need sellin'" He then squeezes one making a bean scream, Pika smiles slightly before slamming their head on a nearby wall

At the market

"Fresh crickets, ma'am? Always fresh" Merchant 1 says 

"Worms! We got worms!" Merchant 2 yells 

"Are these grubs organic?" a villager asks another merchant, 

Pika sits at the Plantar's stand with their hood up which covered some of their face and a bandana on which they adjust before slouching back as they make a noise to show their dissatisfaction 

"All right, kids. Get out there and sell like your lives depend on it. Because they do. We-- We really need this" Hop-pop tells the kids, 

Sprig hops out into the open as he yells "Come one, come all. Try the beans everybody's screaming about" as a scream bean screams, 

"Beans, everyone. Wow, can you believe it? delicious screaming beans" Pika says lacking any emotions 

"Oh, gracious!" a villager says as she looked at the hooded figure 

"Like I'd buy beans from a monster" Another villager says before walking away 

"of course the frogs are dickheads" Pika sighs,
