You wake up in your bed and look over to see that your daughter and wife were asleep still. You couldn't believe that it's been a little over 5 years. It was your daughter's fifth birthday today and you had plans to make it special for her. You crawl out of bed slowly to not wake either of them up. You head out into the kitchen and start making some coffee in the coffee pot. After filling it with water and turning the coffee pot on, you decide to start a group call with everyone. It didn't take long before everyone had joined the group call. Everyone decided to discuss what they had planned for your daughter's birthday. The place that had been chosen for her birthday was the IS Academy. Training field two had been set up for the event. Miss Orimura gave special permission to hold the events at the academy. You were just finishing up the call with Ichika and the other girls when Laura walks into the kitchen.

"Vho vere vou on the vone vith?" Laura asked.

"I was on the phone with the others making sure everything was ready. As soon as she wakes up we are heading over to the academy." You say while smiling admiring your wife's beauty.

You were just thinking how lucky you were to be married to Laura and having a daughter when you both heard a sound of running. Knowing what was happening you spread your arms open getting to catch your daughter. As soon as your daughter came in the room she leapt directly into your arms hugging you.

"You have to hurry up and get dressed. We are taking you somewhere for your birthday." you say towards your daughter.

 She gives a look of curiosity and then replies okay before taking off again to get dressed.  By the time you poured you and Laura a cup of coffee, your daughter came back in fully dressed. It was remarkable on how quick she could change but of course it's something your wife had taught her. You couldn't help but smile as you grabbed the keys to the car. It didn't take long to get your daughter strapped in her car seat Before having to take off. It took about twenty minutes to get to the bridge and across it leading to the academy. Once at the academy gates, you showed your badge and was let in by security. You drive into the car pool garage and get out while Laura got out and helped your daughter get out of the car. Once all of you were out of the car and ready, you walk over to a security door and slide your keycard through the reader causing the door to open. Beyond the door was a long hallway leading to the main facility and it took about five minutes to walk through it. Once on the other side of the hallway, you open the next door once again using your keycard. The door opened up to the main courtyard of the academy and your daughter laughed happily seeing Ichika and the other girls standing there waiting for you  and your family.

You saw Miss Orimura in an dress for once and saw that she was doting on Ichika which was unusual but you shook it off and looked over at Laura smiling. Once everyone had greeted one another, Charlotte got the main task of taking care of your daughter since she was attached to Charlotte for some reason. Charlotte picked your daughter up and set her on her shoulders. Everyone was friendly towards your daughter while you traversed towards the field for your daughter's birthday party. Once at the field the doors slid open revealing all the banners around the place and like half the academy yelling happy birthday. Your daughter squealed happily and once Charlotte set her down, she went running out into the crowd of girls. Everyone was having fun when Houki's older sister showed up to deliver a package. Everyone was unsure what it was because of the size but it soon became apparent what it was once your daughter got half the package opened. Inside was a small IS unit. It didn't look like it had any weapon systems, just the capability to walk around in.

"Vhat is the meaning of this!" Laura asked loudly.

"It's just a unit hat is capable of basic functions. No weapon systems. I made it myself to make sure it would be safe for her." Houki's sister Tabane said.

Laura glared at you.

"Hey if it doesn't have weapons and is safe, I don't see anything wrong with her having it." you say.

"I suppose there isn't any harm." Laura says.

The party went on for hours with the girls from them academy making your daughter happy. Once your daughter had fallen asleep and the party died down with the IS girls slowly heading back to their rooms for the night, you went over to Miss Orimura.

"Would it be alright if we stayed here tonight at the academy? I want to get some training in and also thought it might be a good idea to teach her the basic functions of an IS unit here." you say and ask.

"I don't see any harm in it. Go ahead but who are you going to have your daughter stay with?" Miss Orimura says and asks.

Overhearing the conversation, Charlotte speaks up.

"She can stay in my room tonight. I don't mind taking care of her for the night." Charlotte says.

You turn your attention to Charlotte.

"Thank you." You say.

Laura didn't have any objections since her roommate used to be Charlotte.

Miss Orimura called out to Tatenashi and gave her some orders.

After Miss Orimura was done talking to Tatenashi, She had you follow her to a room. Tatenashi gave you a card to the room and said she would check in on both of you in the morning. After thanking her both you and Laura go in the room and see that is made into like a small apartment. You had to take a second look at the keycard and noticed that it said (F/N) and Laura's apartment. you couldn't help but smile knowing that you had your own small place at the academy to where your daughter was going to grow up to be a fine IS pilot someday.
