Persian, also known by its Farsi, is a Western Iranian language belonging to the Iranian branch of the Indo-Iranian subdivision of the Indo-European languages.

Things you need to know about Persian/Farsi:

-NEVER mistake Persian as Arabic, they're completely different languages.

-vowels are not written. You either should know the word, or you have to guess.

-Persian is written from right to left.

-due to the placement of the letters, the writing style changes. Most letters change form in the start, in the middle, and in the end.

-in Persian there's nothing such as pronouns.

-like English, female and male both go with same verbs.

-but like any other language, the verbs change due to the time, action, and person/people count.
