My dear PLayers,

My dear PLayers,

The day I put the letters "QED" at the end of Project LOKI Volume 3, some of you might have thought that the adventures of the QED Club are over, that we will finally be able to move on from them.

Unfortunately, that's not the case here.

A couple of months ago—probably around February or March—I thought of launching the "QED Club series" under my new publisher. This series will focus on the club's adventures minus the gore of the Project LOKI series. I came to realize that there are still a lot of stories to tell, and if anyone's interested, I'm willing to write about them.

Origins of the QED Club is the first installment in the series, timeline-wise. This is a retelling of select important events in Project LOKI—particularly when Lorelei, Jamie, and Alistair joined the club—and a prequel of some sort as I will give you a glimpse of the time when Loki founded the club and when Rhea solved mysteries with him. Think of it as re-reading some chapters of Project LOKI, but from another character's perspective. We will get to know Loki's thoughts when he was recruiting Lorelei, what Jamie was thinking before she decided to join the club, and what Alistair was doing before he transferred to Clark High.

This story is intended for the following readers:

· PLayers who want to get to know more about our beloved detectives (particularly Loki who had one POV chapter per volume, and Jamie and Alistair who had no POV chapters at all in the main series)

· Long-time readers who plan to re-read Project LOKI but want to skip the blood and gore

· Casual readers who enjoyed Chronicles of the QED Club and became curious about the characters but don't wish to read the main series (because it's freaking long!)

· PLayers who can't get enough of the club's adventures

If you're already satisfied with Project LOKI and you want to move on from the QED Club, then this story might not be for you.

Once I'm done with Origins, I will resume writing Festival of the QED Club which features the Senior High School Festival.

So yes. Here we go again.

Sincerely,

R.C. MUSNI (AKOSIIBARRA)

P.S. It hasn't been announced yet (as of August 23, 2022), but Chronicles of the QED Club will be published soon. If you haven't bought a copy of the self-published version, this would be your chance to grab a physical copy that is more affordable (probably ₱199) and more accessible (will be available in National Book Stores). But enough of the shameless plug. Enjoy reading!
