once we made it i parked in my usual spot then got out the car walking to the entrance door where my boyfriend was with girls circled around me and he was entertaining all of them at the same time yea like i said he's not the best boyfriend once me and gigi squirmed our way through them i walked next to him holding his forearm and that's when the girls all walked off and he looked down at me kinda irritated but trying to hide it

Y: well hello to you too mr famous
??: yea hey babe wassup gigi

gigi and my boyfriend were best friends way before i got into the picture they literally grew up together and seeing them together reminded me and how close me and my ex were i guess that's why i was so attracted to tony he reminded me of the past but as you can see the attraction doesn't seem to be going both ways oh also yea tony is my boyfriend that's his legal name but everybody calls him ballo or if they don't know him which is very rare they call him y/ns boyfriend which for him is just an easy way to piss him off but accidentally call him someone else's boyfriend and he simply laughs it off come on don't judge me i said he wasn't the best boyfriend

Y: so are you coming over today
Tony: i don't know i may just go to the gym
Y: ok i could come with you
Tony: you know i like to be alone during workouts
Y: yea i know but we haven't hung out in weeks
Tony: because i'm busy y/n i'm not gonna keep reminding you
Y: fine whatever don't come over i don't even care no more

i let go of tony's arm and just walked inside walking to the big board in the middle of the hall everyone was circled around it was a board for our homeroom classes i searched for my name then i walked in the direction my class was located in taking a seat since gigi and tony were the only people i talked to and neith- before i could finish my thoughts tony walked in sitting right next to me and at that moment i kind of regretted wishing he was in here in the first place a part of me was burning to move seats but i stayed still ignoring his existence and watching everyone else walk through the door until the teacher walked in closing about to close it behind her but someone stuck there foot in the doorway and she turned around opening back up as a curly headed boy came into the frame he awkwardly looked at the teacher then she gestured for him to go find a seat and he locked eyes with me then walked in my direction sitting in the empty seat that was on the other side of me

??: excuse me

i acted like a couldn't hear the guy and kept listening to the teacher give her expectations for this year but soon the guy started tapping my shoulder

Y: what dude
??: i'm new here i'm just tryna see if where i'm supposed to go next can you check my schedule and just tell me what direction to go in

i held out my hand as the guy placed his paper schedule into it then i looked at his classes seeing which one he had second i found it pretty quickly but curiosity took over and i looked up at his name

Y: derek
Derek: yea
Y: well your next class is on the next hall all the way down then after that you get to go home
Derek: wow cool
Y: so you're new
Derek: yup
Y: where'd you move from
Derek: new jersey
Y: and you came here
Derek: yea i heard it's better well education wise
Y: i can't tell you if that true since i've never been to new jersey but i can tell you i can't wait until i can leave north carolina
Derek: that bad
Y: no i just always wanted to branch out and travel the world also a lot of bad memories here that i could do better without remembering you know
Derek: that's how i felt with my hometown took my mom a lot of convincing but my sister didn't care she hated it there anyways
Y: you have a sister
Derek: yea she's in middle school right now though she's fourteen but her attitude is very grown
Y: hmm i like her already
Derek: well i'm having a party this weekend and she'll be there
Y: the new kid is having a party
Derek: i mean yea what's a better way to get to know everybody
Y: hmm
Derek: you should come i can text you the details if you give me your number
Y: i have a boyfriend
Derek: i promise there will be no funny business

i looked over at tony noticing he was all up in another girls face so i rolled my eyes pulling out my phone and letting derek put his number in then he gave me his phone and i did the same

Derek: alright well i'm gonna text you
Y: ok
Derek: one more thing
Y: what's up
Derek: could you walk to class with me your the first person i've spoken to since i walked in this school and it would be nice to not be walking the hallways awkwardly looking at the back of peoples shoes
Y: sure even though i'm kind of offended since i always look at the back of peoples shoes are you talking about me on the first day new kid

i watched as a smile smile came on his face and i smiled back before i turned back towards the teacher finally listening to the rest of what she was saying once the bell ring i got up talking to derek then tony stepped next to me
