''Carolina.'' Alejandro's hard voice echoed to reprimand his sister-in-law from saying anything more. His eyes bore at me before he looked at my grandfather. ''I apologize on behalf. We do not mean anything by that. We wished to be good friends with all the families present here.''

Their family politely excused themselves from our crowd after that. The Montecarlos smiled at me and told me not to worry about it and forget the interaction that happened.

The next day, Alejandro de Leon sent a gift as a token of apology to our family.

What happened yesterday stayed on my mind the whole night, but I don't think it's much of a big deal to send gifts if it's really nothing. But a family with caliber and reputation like that, I guess they don't like to feel they've wronged someone even for petty reasons. Are they trying to humble themselves? Or are there far beyond hidden reasons for this?

Javier de Leon topped the board exam aggressively. He placed second and I couldn't be even more proud.

''Congratulations, love!''

With wide eyes, Javier looked taken back when he saw me outside his condo. I knew about his place because he told me everything. He even told me his passcode, which isn't really necessary. Of course, I still rang the bell when I came here.

I chuckled when he instantly pulled me inside, wrapping an arm on my neck, to plant a deep kiss on my cheek. Muntik pang mahulog ang bulaklak na hawak ko, na dala ko para sa kanya.

''Why are you suddenly here?'' he whispered when he was done showering my face with kisses.

''Because I want to congratulate you!'' I arched my eyebrows at him. ''Why, are you hiding someone here?''

''What? No!''

I jokingly squinted my eyes and let it room around his place. I pushed Javier away a little to get out of his hold, yet he followed my every moment. Panay ang yakap at halik niya sa'kin tila tuwang-tuwa na makita ako.

He even pulled me to a sofa, made me sit on his lap and claimed my mouth fully. Pinagbigyan ko na at mukhang na-miss nga ako. Javier would only let me breathe if I'm already literally panting and after, he'd kiss me back again, almost sucking my soul out.

''Tama na, Jav...''

It seems like he did not hear me though. He continued to ravage my lips, neck, and shoulders. Until his lips went down to the valley of my chest, sucking and leaving marks. Yes, bukas na ang ilang butones ng damit ko. Ang bilis ng kamay niya.

''God, I missed you so much.'' he murmured against my skin.

I blinked and when I couldn't take it any longer, I softly pulled his hair away from me. Namumungay ang kanyang mga mata nang mapatingin sa'kin. Mas hinigpitan ang hawak at mas hinila ako papalapit. Dang, he looked so hot.

''Hmm?''

''Why don't you tour me?'' I suggested instead of us making out here.

As much as I wanted what we are doing right now but if he continues to do this, I'm afraid I won't be able to hold myself back anymore. Pero alam ko siya kayang-kaya niyang magpigil. Ako hindi! I'd be bothered and frustrated again.

''Okay.''

See?! Napailing na lamang ako habang inaayos ang sarili.

His place is located in one of the most high end towers. It's a two storey large penthouse that has its own elevator landing. I knew he had lots of money to flex. I still can't forget how he offered me a car. Maybe I should've asked him. Tumawa ako sa isipan.
