Chapter 26 (Next Shift)
Dawson and Shay walked into the firehouse and Hermann got up and walked up to them. "Dawson! Long time no see!" Hermann said hugging Dawson. "Hey Hermann." Dawson said. Everyone else got up and walked up to Dawson and started talking and hugging her. Dawson looked around at everyone trying to remember all of their names. Then,Otis walked in from the truck bay. "Hey Dawson!" Otis said walking up to Dawson and giving her a hug. "Hi!" Dawson said hesitantly trying to remember his name. Otis wrinkled his brow for a second when he noticed Dawson's face but he adjusted it and started smiling again.
Shay and Dawson were sitting at Shay's apartment watching a show on TV. Shay turned towards Dawson and said "I'll be right back okay?" Dawson nodded looking towards Shay for a second then looking back towards the TV. Shay walked off to Kelly's room. She walked in and closed the door behind her. "We need to talk." Shay said to Kelly.
