Bruce;
Y/ns pov
-I was getting ready to bat next because this is a very important game to me for two reasons actually, one reason being that in the stands is people from a professional sports college! Me and Bruce both dream of going together so this can really help me get in as Bruce has already been accepted for when he finished school oh and the other reason is because of Bruce actually, he is in the stands cheering me on as he also knows I'm worried about the people from the college coming to watch my game and also the fact I now have a massive crush on him after the incident of me hitting him with a ball we hung out loads which caused me to catch feelings for the idiot.
I made my way to the batting area and I calmed myself down knowing I can't screw up now i really need this to go well. I was up against a girl who has a amazing throw which made me worry but I kept my composure and when the ball came towards me I hit it as far as possible
-instantly after hitting it the crowd starting shouting and cheering me to run. I set off knowing I had to get a home run or the people wouldn't think I'm good enough for the college or maybe Bruce wouldn't think I'm good enough to be his best friend anymore that made me worry 10x more
I did it I got the home run causing us to win the game all my teammates ran up to me hugging me and praising me for winning the finale point causing the victory but after a few minutes they all stopped and started moving out the way for a particular boy to make his way to you
I turned to see Bruce standing there smiling at me with a bouquet out my favourite flowers
"Bruce? Did u see that I did it! Oh what are the flowers for - oh my god are you asking the girl you like out??? Who is she" I asked happily, yeah hearing he liked someone else hurt but it was ok as long as he was happy you know
"Oh y/n " he made his way closer to me "it's you silly goose, you're the girl I've liked for ages now" my cheeks instantly heated up and I just kissed him knowing this was the happiest moment of my life. Me and him may have forgotten the crowd was still here as well as your team mates so when they cheered for you two you both got a bit of a scare.

Vance;
His pov
-I heard y/n had been talking to this guy called Jason Turner, he's a year above us and gets all the girls in my year and his, he's a complete asshole as well - I just wish he hadn't gone after  y/n. Yeah me and him are mates but why'd have to go after my girl- well she isn't MY girl per say but
everyone one around us thinks we are either together or we both really like each other which is true on my side y/n lights up a room with her smile and she can defend herself not needing any help from me. I walk into Grab N' go to play pinball but I walked in to see her crying talking to the lady behind the counter I obviously started to worry about her so I walked over
-"y/n? What happened is everything ok doll face?"
She looked at me with red puffy eyes which made me feel horrible
"Jason " she cut herself off "Jason stood me up and called me a slut because I'm friends with you" she sniffed
Y/ns pov
"Y/n? What happened is everything ok doll face?" Vance approached me having a concerned look on his face, I struggled to talk at first but I ended up getting my words out "Jason" I couldn't bring myself to say it "Jason stood me up and called me a slut because I'm friends with you" I sniffled. His face instantly grew angry "that mother fucker so stupid for standing you up and you aren't a slut   y/n trust me !" Vance clearly angry with what he just heard "and plus there are better guys out there" he continued as he mumbled something else I didn't quite catch "what did you say Vance? I didn't hear you" I was confused but then he spoke up saying what I didn't hear before
"There are better guys out there and that guy is me y/n I sound stupid and corny but I'm here waiting for you "
I couldn't speak I was frozen from shock , the Vance hopper likes me ?!
"You what?! You like me ? " I say smiling widely
"DuH you idiot"

Billy;
Y/ns pov
-it's a normal Saturday morning with me sat out in my chair waiting for Billy to ride past and give me the news paper. Today was different though something wasn't right ... Billy hadn't shown up on time like he always did I blew it off as him being late but he still hadn't dropped the paper off and it had been 30 minutes it's 7:45 meanings his round should have been completed by now, I grew more and more worried. I got up getting heading to the door to go inside when I heard a bark come from  behind me I instantly recognised it as rover but no Billy?
The dog had something in his mouth which he dropped at my feet after looking at me for 30 seconds, it was a piece of paper with Billy's handwriting on it
-the note read "I promise I didn't mean to worry you but I'd wanted to do this for a while now so walk to the end of the path" I studied the note twice confused but when I looked up Billy stood there with a teddy bear and a massive grin on his face which was adorable. I ran down and jumped onto him causing him to pick me up and swing me around once and pull me into a hug
"You genuinely terrified me I thought that stupid grabber got you and I couldn't deal with losing you" I flicked his nose before asking about the teddy " well pretty girl, this is actually for you because I'm asking you out ... " he said happy but also worried waiting for your answer
I started jumping up and down as I'd been waiting for this moment " you idiot of course I'll go out with you" you placed a kiss on his cheek. You both headed inside with rover so you could change and get ready for the little date he had planned for you two that day.
