Circles: The Script

Pilot.

David: " What o- oh dear yes, that is Frederick- "

Freddie: " Freddie. i'm the butler. " * He says sarcastically, holding out his hand for a handshake and bowing a little *

David: * flicks Freddie's ear *

Freddie: " OW!.. Butler-Son. "

* pause *

" in.. training. "

David: * cringes and puts his hand over his face *

* Meanwhile Madison has arrived to the party, however she is already seemingly a little drunk due to being upset beforehand. *

* David pulls Freddie aside *

David:

* whisper-shouting angrily *

"Are you fucking serious Frederick?!"

Freddie: * slurred *

"My name isn't even Frederick..! It's Freddie. You named me Freddie. Or.. maybe Mum did, I don't know.. but my name isn't 'Frederick'"

David:

" Yes well she's not here now is she. You are embarrassing me. "

Freddie:

* laughs *

"Fucking. hell.."

* drains his glass and walks away *

* Vampire by Dominic Fike plays slowly as he walks through the crowds *

* Freddie has locked himself in a unisex bathroom stall and is smoking weed while also being pretty drunk *

* Guitar Riff Plays as he is getting high and the camera is focused on a close up of his face *

Madison: *making her way to her seat*

* Camera pans out to a wide-shot and sideways view of Madison walking down the aisle to her seat. Every table she walks past stops laughing and conversing and starts to adjust things such as their hair and their clothing. *

*Camera cuts to a shoulder and head shot of Madison, still sideways*

*Madison sighs and goes to pull out her chair, her hand gets pulled away*

Madison: *turns quickly*

Random Employee: Please, allow me Ms McNamara. *Slowly and uncomfortably pulls out chair while forcing a smile and looking at Madison*

Madison: *clenches fist* thanks.. *she sits down with Jenny, her long time friend. Jenny doesn't work with or for the company at all, she just follows where Madison goes. It's Frustrating.*

Jenny: Isn't this incredible? People doing everything for you, stopping in their tracks at how beautiful you are. Darling there must be at least a hundred people here to watch your new clothing launch.

Madison: Im just.. living the dream Jenny. *She says with a forced smile*

*Jenny laughs hysterically and everyone goes silent. She's still laughing and Madison is looking around awkwardly and embarrassed.*

Presenter: Madam.. Madam!

Jenny: h- oh?

Presenter: Silence please..

Jenny: oop- apologies. *She says, still giddy with excitement.*
