Surgery For Your Heart [A Lisoo Story]

Chapter 3

"Are you ready?" Jisoo asked the noticeably nervous Lisa.

Lisa felt sweat dripping from her face. She felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Jisoo. She slowly injected the anesthesia into the child.

"Good job." Jisoo smiled before starting the operation.

After the operation, Jisoo hands Lisa a can of soda.

"We don't have any more operations for today." Jisoo tells her.

Lisa takes the can of soda and chugs it.

"Want to tell me what happened in there?" Jisoo asked.

"Operating on children scares me." Lisa confessed.

"It's fine, you did a good job." Jisoo comforted her.

Jisoo's compliment means a lot to Lisa. It makes her smile.

"Thanks." Lisa replied.

"You can go home if you want." Jisoo tells her.

'Can I... can I have your number?" Lisa softly asked.

There was a short moment of silence. But then, Jisoo speaks up.

"Sure." Jisoo replied with a smile before entering her number into Lisa's phone.

Lisa can't hide her happiness. She joyfully drives back home. She lives in a house near the hospital. 

Suddenly, she hears a knock on the door. It was raining outside. She opens the door and finds Jisoo with Lisa's ID card on it. She was all wet.

"Here. Your card." Jisoo hands it to Lisa.

"D-do you want to come in?" Lisa asked the shivering Jisoo. "Did you follow me all the way here?"

Jisoo nods while sitting with Lisa and drinking tea.

"Do you live nearby?" Lisa asked Jisoo.

Jisoo shook her head. "I live towards the other side of the hospital." 

"Do you want to stay here tonight? There's going to be a storm and possibly flood." Lisa said.

"If that's okay with you." Jisoo politely nodded.

"Of course it is." Lisa smiled.

Lisa gives her a towel, a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants.

"You can go shower, I'll make dinner." Lisa said before walking to the kitchen.

Jisoo goes to the bathroom to take a shower and change. She walks out of the bathroom to see Lisa putting dishes on the table.

"You look... beautiful." Lisa smiled.

"Thanks." Jisoo blushed.

They have dinner.

"You make really good bibimbap." Jisoo complimented.

"Thanks, it's a family recipe." Lisa replied.

After they're done, Jisoo washes the dishes so Lisa can shower. 

"I can sleep on the couch." Jisoo tells Lisa after she got out of the bathroom.

Lisa pulls Jisoo's hand and takes her to her bed. 

"It can fit 2 people." Lisa smiled.

The two goes to bed.

At night, Lisa notices Jisoo shivering. So, she cuddles Jisoo.

She's so pretty, even when she's asleep. Lisa thinks to herself.
