Though she is bitter when we first meet her, Freedom is good underneath it all. She was abused by Cottonmouth, and really had no other choice but to be bitter. All she wanted was love, and a life. Instead, she was stuck in a prison with her abuser. In the end she made the ultimate sacrifice so everyone else could live a happy, peaceful life. I actually cried when Freedom did this, her name suits her so much, and she deserves to be remembered as a hero, rather than a villain.
