recently, netizens have been expressing their concerns at the apparent mistreatment of txt's paris, and enhypen's junyeon. both are members of the well-known project group ITZY under JYP Entertainment. these concerns originally started after enhypen's most recent comeback 'manifesto : day 1,' where it appeared junyeon had the fewest lines, and screen time. this later escalated after, unlike all her other members, during promotions for the album she wan't featured on the group's tiktok account, nor was she posted any other artist's. at first, it was assumed this was all because they were allowing her to focus on preparing itzy's recent release 'checkmate,' however fellow band and label mate paris was still very much active in all txt affairs.
another incident that leads fans to these worries was the release of 'The Game Caterers x HYBE', that was released last month, and consisted of 7 teams under HYBE. Big Hit's Tomorrow X Together, Belift Lab's Enhypen, Source Music's Le Sserafim, Pledis' Seventeen and Fromis_9, as well as soloist Lee Hyun and former NU'EST member Minhyun and Baekho forming a team, and Paris and Junyeon forming a team. while viewers were satisfied with the male mixed team, netizens brought up their concerns on the unfairness behind pairing the girls together. on the contrary, some netizens were commenting on how the two seemed quite uninterested in the whole ordeal, with Junyeon zoning out at multiple occasions, and alleged half-hearted clapping.

'are we going to talk about the fact that the got the least amount of screen time, despite the fact that they literally carried the show because of how comedic they are together??'
HYBE had released a statement after the first episode was aired, saying how they had thought it was unfair to keep the girls in their respective groups for the show, and that it would be easier to keep the two together to ensure they received fair and equal treatment to all the others participating. netizens were skeptical however, as their area was placed slightly further away from everyone else, and only had two managers behind them, both who seemed quite unbothered by the show. unlike the companies, the other idols their cheered them on throughout, and was the enhypen member was a favourite along side TXT's Soobin during the random dance challenge.
fans have also noticed that they've done nothing to help promote their recent ITZY comeback, unlike in the past where they've congratulated them on twitter, as well as allowed them to do a small live together to celebrate. Paris also revealed she had been put on a diet, despite the worries fans had back in april after her ribs could be clearly showing while dancing
after their first statement, HYBE is yet to say anything further on the situation, or take action with the allegations
