Third person POV

It was the middle of no where, the clouds clouded, dark and the sound of thunder kept repeating , though it wasn't raining the wind blew through the valley of the well laid road which looks very much new and neat I observed ,my thoughts came to a halt when a black land cruiser flashed before my eyes followed by another and another after the fourth which were filled with soldiers I realized that it was a convoy which means the presence of a powerful person.
The cars drove into a big mansion and seeing the whole streets and area filled with cars and people ,surely their is a ceremony going wedding perhaps, but by the amount of people there and the looks on their faces it was obviously not a joyful ceremony
When the cars came to a halt a door flew open even before it was opened by the bodyguard standing beside the door ,
The moment his feets stepped on the floor the rain began pour, but he didn't even care as he rushed into the house. He saw her sitting numb on the floor staring at blank space . The moment he stepped into the room the women gathered around her began to leave the room staring at him with pitiful looks knowing how he was with the deceased and each and  every one of them passing out their condolences before stepping out
When they were left alone in the room that's when she looked at him and she patted her laps he slowly walked towards her and lied his head on her laps as hot tears began to roll from his eyes. She was the only person he could be vulnerable in front. He needed to let his grief out
She rubbed his back gently sobbing with him . They stayed like that for almost 5 minutes before she broke the silence
"Haba mijina sekace ba soja Ba( Haba my husband why are you behaving like you are not a soldier?" She teased sniffing back her tears
That's when his senses came back to him realizing what he has down. He can't be vulnerable right now she needed him to be strong she lost her husband of almost 50 years
"Dada I'm so sorry" he lifted his head . He sat down properly and greeted her which she replied sadly. They sat down silently for almost 20 minutes before the knock came through .
It was time to say there final good byes to him......

***************
3 days later

He was lying down on the bed as he reminisce about the event that happened three days ago till today . The knock was silent but he felt like it was his head that was being knocked . A woman came in she looked like she was in her early  50's and no one had to tell you she is his mother  by one look at her you will see the resemblance between them. She came in when he didn't answer, with a maid behind her holding a tray of food
She excused the maid immediately she dropped the tray
"Junaid " she called his name soft which made him look up she gave him a small smile before sitting down beside him on the bed
" I brought food please eat a little"he sat up and rested his head on the bed nodding slowly . She lifted her hand and gently placed it on his forehead
"Subuhanallah"She murmured feeling how high his temperature was. She stood up and left the room and came back with a first aid kit
"Here" she handed it to him with a cup of water  which he reluctantly took and gulped it down she watched him close his eyes Letting out gentle breath
The room was suddenly quite before she broke the silent
"I know this is hard for you but I want you to know we will always be here for you. You are not alone and you will never be" she was suddenly quite and you could tell she was crying
"I don't know why you behave like...... you are always alone"she broke down and he opened his eyes .
He hated making her feel this way but he doesn't know what to do he is trying his best
"I am sorry " she forced a smile cleaning her soaked face
"I will let you rest" she stood up and went for the door"

'Mamma" he called softly she stopped but didn't turn .
"I am sorry"he almost whispered but she heard him,she nodded and left the room
He let out a frustrating sigh before sitting up.

He switched on his phone for the first time in 72 hours and message began to flood in nonstop that he had to put the phone on silent because the sound was adding to his headache . He went straight to his email because he knows that is where he gets his most important messages. Most were all greetings and condolences but one particular message caught his attention it read
"There is something important you need to know . Your grandfather didn't die naturally. He was killed" he stared at the message for more than 5 minutes trying to digest what he read
He checked the email that sent him the message and it was not adding up
At one look at the email he knew it was coded no one dared to send this kind of mail without protection
He immediately sent it to the one person he knows that can crack any code
"Find out where this came from ASAP " he sent and a reply came not less than 30 seconds
"Yes sir" came the reply
In nothing less than an hour a location was sent to him.
"Kano,
