Chapter 51 : You Will Be Next

It seems there is no right way to get out of this. But, there is one thing he knows that tempts everyone the most in the world. And that's money. So, he will beg the man to save him and give him a suitable amount of money. What a cute thought.

"Look, if we kill Judas, I will give 500 000 gold coins for you. How about that?" he cockily offers at the knights but soon becomes perplexed when a laugh comes from another side.

Along with him, the other three figures turn their attention to the direction from which the laugh is coming. At long last, the shadowy figure may be seen emerging from the location while wearing a cloak. When Harren sees the ruby eyes darkening and glowing with rage, he knows that he is looking at the constitution because they are peering directly into his soul. As he struggles to make sense of the situation, he lets go of the sword. How is that woman even here?

"Aww, Harren. You have no trouble identifying me at all. I consider it a privilege that you remember me," she chuckles as she pulls back her cloak, and her golden hair immediately begins to fall free.

"S--Smith, how are you--"

"How am I even here? Harren, I think I give you too much credit for being so bright. What a shame it is," she continues to move towards Harren while giving the knight a knowing nod.

The knight complies with the request, and lets go of him. She removes the dust off Harren's clothing and then fixes his attire for a short while.

"Is it clear to you? You are falling for every one of these traps. These people work for me," she smiles, looking at the pathetic man.

Harren's gaze travels from Judas to Phillips to the knights and then back again. The Count proceeded to do that repeatedly in both directions. The last thing he does is put his hands on his head and press down on it while trying to figure out what's happening. Duchess Smith casts a curious glance in his direction and, for some reason, derives some satisfaction from his response.

He pounces on the Duchess and yells, "You wench!" while putting his arms around her neck and forcing the air out of her lungs.

The Duchess struggles, but the other three figures rush to assist their master without hesitation. The Duchess receives assistance from Judas, but she brushes it off and coughs slightly due to the abrupt attack. She is holding her neck and is concerned that it might leave some traces. As time goes on, trying to hide it will become increasingly annoying. Tsk.

The ruby eyes turn her gaze onto the man once again, where he is held by her knight.

"You demon! I should've killed you when I had the chance to!" he screams at the blonde woman, who practically looks at him upside down, belittling him, which continues to hurt his pride.

Judas tries to stop her from approaching the Count again, but she shows no fear even after the attack. On the contrary, her eyes don't tremble in anxiety; they flutter from too much excitement.

"Let him go," Natalie said again, but the knight hesitated at this time, thinking that the man would attack her. But, probably, that's the part of her plan.

The ruby eyes look at the knight as if expecting him to comply with their request. Then, she draws the dagger from her pocket by reaching for it and pulling it out. She throws the blade down without hesitation and kicks it at Harren, standing nearby.

She gives him a warm smile as she stands confidently in front of him and says, "Well, you have your chance again."

The actions of the Duchess leave the others bewildered, and they hold their breath. After that, with a straightforward mindset, Harren quickly grabs the dagger and moves closer to the Duchess. The knight attempts to become involved, but Natalie signals him to back off. Harren quickly puts all of his efforts into capturing Natalie, placing the blade around her neck and threatening Judas, demanding that he give him his money back.
