Chapter 69:

I watch him as he leaves.

'Alora lets see what you got!' I exclaim.

I open up the bag and see the clothes i wanted.

'I got them as a gift to you.' She says.

'Thank you so much!' I exclaim.

I jump up and hug her.

'You deserve it,' she says.

'You're still not good at this,' Terzo says.

'Just let me focus,' I snap.

I raise the gun, breathe in and squint my eyes. I remember to do what Adriano taught me.

I pull the trigger and shoot one of the mannequins down.

'One down, seven more to go,' Terzo slow claps.

'Bare with me, I'm still a little drunk.' I reply.

'We don't have time, the mission is in two weeks and three days.' He snaps.

I take a deep breath in, squint my eyes and shoot a mannequin, then another one and another one until they all have holes in them.

'Good job,' he says.

'Thanks,' I reply. 'You know I might not be able to use a gun, but I can fucking fight with one.'

'Test out that theory on Xuan, I don't want to ruin this perfect face.' Terzo says.

'Sure,' I reply.

I step into the ring and Terzo gets Xuan from the other side of the training room.

I stretch for a little bit and Xuan enters the ring.

'I've never fought you before,' I say.

'I won't go easy on you,' he winks.

'I don't expect you too.' I smirk.

'You know the rules, no weapons, only fists,' Terzo says.

Lorenzo, Amira, Alessandro and Alora have come to watch us.

'3....2....1.....Fight!' Terzo exclaims ringing a bell.

Xuan throws a punch and I take a fast step back. I step forward and he throws another one. I take another fast step back and I see an opening and I swing.

I land a punch on his jaw and grab his arm before he could touch my face. I turn around and pull him over my shoulder.

He falls on his back and grunts. I shake my arms to loosen my joints, when Xuan grabs my ankle, puts his legs around it and floors me.

My hands stop my face from smacking onto the floor.

Xuan and I get up and I kick him in the gut. I go to kick his face but he blocks it and grabs my leg.

He pulls me closer to him, making me try and catch my balance.

He punches me in the jaw and kicks his legs underneath mine, making me falls.

He gets on top of me and I flip him over.

I put him in a tight headlock and wrap my legs around him so he can't move.

He taps my arm.

He tapped out.

'Xuan has tapped out!' Terzo says.

I let go of him and we shake hands.

'Maybe next time I'll go easy on you,' I laugh.

He glares at me.

'I let you win,' he says.

'Yeah, of course you did,' I snicker.

I get out of the ring and see that Zoya has arrived from her date.

'How was it?' I ask.

'It was amazing, Aiden is so sweet!' She says. 'He brought me some flowers, but I left them in the kitchen.'

'That's your first and last date with Aiden.' Terzo snaps.

'Let her date who she wants,' Lorenzo buts in, earning a glare from Terzo.

'Maybe next time you should gather the balls to fucking ask me before another guy does.' She snaps.

'You don't even like Aiden.' Terzo says.

'You act like you have no interest in me whatsoever but the second I speak to another guy you go crazy.' She snaps.

Everyone's looking at each other shocked. I think this is supposed to be something you say in private.

'Oh yeah, like you didn't go crazy when Zoe even looked in my direction.' Terzo crosses his arms.

'You're an asshole,' she snarls.

Zoya storms out of the training room and every one stands there in silence, awkwardly looking at each other.

'You need to go fix that,' Alessandro says walking away.
