she stared at satoru, however, she was met with satoru's own eyes staring at her. when this happened, a wide grin broke out on satoru's face.

her face felt warm, her heartbeat picked up, and she looked away. his light chuckle made her become worse.

but she couldn't help the small, miniscule, smile that was appearing as his chuckle turned into a laugh.

"don't laugh. it's not funny, you know." her voice was soft and gentle. this made satoru smile as his laughter quited down.

he flopped his head into her lap, this abrupt and sudden movement startled her. so, in response, she pushed him off of her lap and into the ground that was as cold as ice.

he groaned and sat up. he rubbed his lower back, head, and arms. a love filled gaze was present-- which of course told her he wasn't mad, but rather amused by her antics.

he just smiled and placed his chin on her lap, his hands beneath her legs as he pulled her close enough. he bent down into his knees and stared at her.

my, he would sacrifice the world for her. sacrifice himself even, he'd do anything to keep her happy-- to keep her smile there, to keep the light in her eyes there for forever.

after her laughter died down, although she wished to continue laughing at satoru's pain, her breathing became steady.

she smiled and kissed satoru's extremely big forehead, according to her, of course. and her fingers treaded through his hair as she somewhat played with his hair.

he closed his eyes and enjoyed this quiet moment. considering if they were too loud megumi and tsumiki would wake and have them lay down with them to sleep.

"I love you, satoru." it wasn't often that she said it to him, but when she did it always sent fireworks throughout him.

with a fond look and smile he said, "I love you too, my n/n."

the moon looked beautiful, the stars shined so bright you could pick out any constellation. the midnight colored sky looked empty as the clouds no longer existed, the winter cold was definitely the most beautiful thing... yet, she was the most beautiful constellation in front of him.

a star rather. a timid, sarcastic, star.

he interlocked their hands together and placed a kiss on hers.

his lips were warm-- something she envied-- they were soft and warm. her heartbeat accelerated as his lingered there, her breath was going to hitch.

but instead she placed her colds hands on his face. the sudden act made him lean into them. although he was placing a loving kiss on one moments ago, he couldn't deny that he didn't enjoy this either.

he had a body heat that often made him too warm, and her cold body was the perfect thing to make him cool again.

he kissed her palm. their eye contact never broke, and his lips never left as he stared.

"...toru...?" it was barely above a whisper, this made him smirk as he leaned up and captured her into a kiss.

this kiss, unlike any other, was chaste and passionate. she smiled into it, which made him wrap his arms around her.

"you're red, no?" indeed she was.

she always became flustered after sharing a kiss with him. how could she not? she was daring satoru gojo, a man known amongst the sorcerer world as the strongest. she was lucky to be with him, and for him to actually enjoy her presence.

"always the charmer, huh?" he smiled and peppered kisses all over her face, her soft and low giggles made him feel a burst of butterflies in his tummy.

she had quite the hold on him, and he didn't know if he wanted her to let go of that hold.

as they laid down, leguminous and tsumiki between them, they held hands above their heads. their eyes interlocked with each other as they stared.

y/n took in every crease, look, smile, ect. of satoru. she wanted to remember everything about him. he was mesmerizing, so much so, she couldn't get enough of him.

"goodnight.... my family."

y/n hadn't ever been so loved by someone as much as satoru loved her. hell, even the two children he brought over loved her as much as satoru did.

she fondly smiled, and felt awake more than ever. she was tired, but couldn't sleep.

guilt was setting in. no.
rather, the guilt already set in, it just felt far worse than before.

truth is is that she was told she going to be ki-

"y/n, can't sleep?"

"huh? oh, oh I'm okay. I'm a bit tired... just waiting for the sleep to come." megumi snuggled closer to her, and she smiled. her hand instinctively went to pat his head. "you're so cute, 'gumi. so, so adorable, gumi."

he lightly giggled, this made y/n kiss the top of his head. "you should sleep. giant over there, does worry about you."

"I'm sure he does. also, shouldn't you bee asleep too? hmm, don't scold me when you're doing the same thing." he patted her hand that was on his head. "hedgehog, you remind me of a hedgehog, gumi."

"hedgehog? what's that?" he had a curious look in his eyes, this made her feel all gushy at this adorable look.

"it's an animal... hmm, I thought satorus' told you about this, but, anyway it's an animal with pointy and spiky things that cover it all over. it's all over it, it's adorable! and you remind me of them."

he nodded, and y/n sighed. "time for sleep, hedgehog. you have school tomorrow, so sleep." after that they both fell asleep.

the next morning though, satoru never let megumi live down the fact that y/n called him hedgehog, affectionally

which of course caused the two to throw insults back and forth as they left the worn down estate.
