"Get dressed and I'll be there in five minutes. I'm already in my car don't freak out, okay?"

"How...how am I not supposed to freak out, Jisung?! What the fuck!-" Minho made a swift turn to his closet, tripping over the small mess of clothes on the floor. He ripped the door open and threw on the first pair of sweats he could find.

"That's why I'm coming to you min, you won't be able to drive like this." Which was true, if Minho was to get in his car in this state a lot could go wrong.

From the other line Jisung could hear the loud intakes of breath and the clatter of things falling to the floor. "Baby please calm down for me? Stay on the phone, keep talking."

A black hoodie with '3racha' stitched onto the sleeve caught Minho's eyes. It was Chan's, he had left it a while ago and Minho had convinced him to leave it with him.

"What if he- what if...I- I what if he's not okay?" Minho's thumbs rubbed over the material, tears dropping onto the soft material.

"Don't scare yourself with 'what ifs', Chan's a strong dude, he'll be just fine." Even with that said there was a stifle in Jisung's words.

"That's what doctors say to families to get them off their backs for a couple of minutes-"

"No! Minho, listen to me....I've known Chan since I was seven. I swear to you he'll be up and walking in a few days."

Minho closed his eyes, taking deep inhales of breath before continuing to get dressed. "Okay, okay. I believe you."

When Jisung finally pulled up to the house, he parked the car and hopped out. Minho came out of the house crying but Jisung was quick to pull him into his arms and rub a soothing hand over his back.

He reassured the male before getting back into the car and driving to the hospital.

It was the longest ride of Minho's life. It could have been just over an hour but to him it just felt way longer. With anxiety and stress weighing over his shoulders he couldn't focus on the light, cheery songs playing through Jisung's radio.

He had just barely parked the car when Minho had jumped out and practically ran into the hospital. He didn't wait for Jisung and threw the doors open.

"Bang Chan! Where is he?" To the other people sitting in the waiting room Minho looked crazy yelling at the woman behind the desk.

"Sir, you have to calm down. I can't just tell you-"

"Tell me where he is or so help me women you'll be-!"

Jisung had caught up, clamping a hand over his best friend's mouth to shut him up. "I'm sorry for his behavior... Can you please tell us where his room is? I'm his brother and this is his husband."

The lady blinked unamused but still directed them to where Chan was. Jisung held Minho's hand the entire way, speaking softly to him until they made it to their floor.

"Changbin?"

The said male was sitting in the halls, his head raising when he heard the approaching footsteps. "Hey....the doctors said-."

Minho didn't acknowledge him, instead making a beeline for Chan's door but was held back by Jisung. "Didn't you hear what Changbin said? The nurses told him to wait another hour before we're allowed to go in there."

The older's eyes turned cold, gaze glaring down onto the seated male.

Jisung figured he'd have to be the mediator between the two.

They sat down next to him with Jisung in the middle considering Minho had moved as far away as possible. It was quiet, no one wanted to initiate conversation due to the tense atmosphere.

"How long have you been here, Binnie?" Jisung figured he might as well try.

"I'm not sure." Changbin placed his hands on his thighs, scratching at the harsh material. "Maybe thirty minutes before you two."

Minho immediately jerked up from the wall he was sitting against. "You were here for almost an hour and didn't think to call us?"

He shook his head, "no, I- I just rushed here. I swear I was going to call you." Didn't sound convincing enough for Minho but he didn't have the energy to pick another fight.

They sat in silence again, the small beeps of machines and hushed voices of doctors is what surrounded them.

Jisung eventually stood, telling the both of them that he needed to go for a second. "I need to piss so like...don't start a fight while I'm gone."

Changbin's face scrunched from his choice of words. He watched him walk away, the urge to call him back strong so he wouldn't have to be alone with the other.

They didn't say anything. Changbin and Minho staring straight forward at the opposite wall.

"Chan told me. Just in case you were wondering."

Changbin sighed, the stretching on his jeans intensifying. "Okay." He didn't know what to say nor did he know what was right to say to Minho of all people.

"That was stupid of you."

Changbin dropped his hands flat in his lap. "It was." There wasn't any malice in the older's voice, he sounded unnaturally calm which was scary but Changbin didn't exactly feel scared.

"So what happened when he came back?"

"I guess you don't know what you have until it's gone- but uh, he said it was alright. We made up."

Minho scoffed, anger flaring up once again but he suppressed it. "You knew, you just didn't think you'd lose it." What pissed him off the most was how he treated Felix, of course he was mad that Changbin tried to make a move on his....whatever- ship.. but it was more about Felix.

"You don't deserve Felix and i'm so fucking angry that you're here sitting next to me."

Changbin didn't answer.

"Chan may have forgiven you but I haven't. Remember that."

And luckily for Minho the doctors came out to finally allow them inside Chan's room.
