Naevis (stylized as nævis or NAVIS), is an AI who is the well-known guardian of Kwangya, and is one of the supporting characters from the series. She is located in the skies of Twilight Zone. She is also Dream's master.
In the Korean dub, her name is Naibiseu (Hangul: 나이비스), while in the Japanese version, it will be Nabisu (Kanji: ナビス).
💜 BACKSTORY 🌸
During the invasion of Black Mamba in Twilight Zone, while Naevis was protecting and saving people at the same time, Black Mamba tried to reject but failed miserably. Then, Naevis attacked her weak sides, so it made the Black Mamba unable to get up. She runs away to check if Dream, and her older sister Takara, were alright. However, the Black Mamba used her powers to rise herself faster to find Naevis and defeat her. She unleashed her black magical spirits to hunt her, and it made Naevis shocked and noticed that the Black Mamba was about to find her. Dream and Takara were so scared, but Naevis manages to repel the spirits, and the sisters ran away together. Dream and Takara find a safe place to hide but the other spirits are preventing them from running. Naevis then rejects herself, struggles for three seconds, until she realized something. She separates the sisters, and they are thrown away to two different cities (Synk City and Electrovillage). The Black Mamba finally founds Naevis as her target and traps her for years after the invasion.
💜 PERSONALITY 🌸
Naevis is a graceful AI who has a motherly and nurturing role. She is very kind to Ryu and the others, and especially her assistant Dream. She is also very good at advice.
💜 RELATIONSHIPS 🌸
• Ryu Young-mi: Her first human. She noticed Ryu because of her advanced fighting skills and sweet personality. She mostly interacted with her, even though she transferred her powers to improve her ability and marked her as the first hero of Kwangya.
• Im Haru: Her second human she interacted. She is impressed with Haru's loud voice and talent of coding, and often helps her when she is stuck unto something she doesn't understand about what was going on with the Black Mamba. She then marked her as the second hero after that.
