The Secret

Chapter 1

Prologue
I am nearing my 18th birthday.
It is supposed to be a really good day, but I can't help but feel that my whole family (except my father) are keeping something from me. Even my grand parents.

I suppose I should describe myself.
My name is Accalia.
I have long urban coloured hair, and hazel eyes.
I am 5 foot 7 and I am not your typical extremely thin teenager, (I can eat a 4 course meal without getting full) I am just medium weight.
I have 2 overprotective brothers and 1 sister who couldn't careless about me. My father abuses me, but my mother doesn't know and he says if I tell them he will kill me.

Ever since I turned 17, my mother kept locking me in my room at a full moon. My father wouldn't even come in my room to give me the daily beatings.
I tried asking them but they just change the subject.
I have decided on my 18th I will run and never look back. I enjoy nature and climbing trees so maybe I can live in the forest. My brothers will look for me but my sister and father won't and my mother will probably just cry then get on with life.

If I tell Luke (my oldest brother) he will understand, only he knows what I am going through. But he has a girlfriend ( or Ashe says it a 'mate') whatever that means, so he will just move on with his grilfriend.

It's for the best.
