"Should I go and tell him to leave?" I asked and he nodded slightly. I could tell that he was unsure.
"Alright, I will go tell him and then make you some tea," I said patting his head. he agreed and I stood up to leave.
I walked inside the kitchen and saw the man sitting there looking out of the window. When he heard me come in he stood up and asked how did it go.
"He said that he doesn't want to see you, not yet atleast." I answered and he sighed.
"Yeah... I figured he was gonna say that," he said.
"Why though? Did you guys get into a fight or what happened?" I asked.
"let's just say that I wasn't a good father to him," he said looking out the window at the sky again. "I see..." I said looking down
"How did you meet my son?" he suddenly asked and I felt my cheeks heat up
"Oh... Well basically I was thrown out by my dad and Gyu let me stay," I answered as shortly as possible to the man.
"I am glad," he said.
"Oh, by the way, you mentioned that you weren't a good father to Gyu but what about Gyu's mother?" I asked because maybe Yeonjun can relate with Beomgyu.
The man arched his back looking out of the window again smiling.
"She is up there, resting, she has been since Beomgyu was a little kid," He said and pointed at the stars
"Ah I am sorry I wasn't aware. Ai am s-" I was about to apologize but the man shook his head.
"It's alright don't apologize..."
we sat there silently looking out of the window, the situation was pretty awkward because well Yeonjun has no clue who this man even is besides that he is Beomgyu's dad and that he has done something bad to Beomgyu.
"I should start going then, "The man said standing up
"Yeah..."I said quietly feeling a bit bad for the father
"I hope someday you can apologize properly to him," I said and he smiled.
"You are a good kid," he said and I shook my head.
"Naah, I was a huge pain to my parents," I said smiling.
"That's alright, it matters how you are now, we have all made mistakes in our lives," He said.
"I guess you are right," I answered and stood up.
I lead him to the door and before he left he told me to take very good care of beomgyu for me and I smiled nodding. "I will don't worry," I said and closed the door.
"Now what the heck just happened?" I thought to myself, feeling confused.
I walked back to the living room and what I saw shook me.
Beomgyu was on the ground crying. He was hugging himself like his life depended on it "B-BEOMGYU" I quickly screamed and ran to him.
"What's wrong Gyu are you alright," I said feeling anxious taking Beomgyu into my arms.
"IT HURTS, it hurts Junnie" he cried out his voice pained. "C-Calm down shhh Gyu it's alright, oh gosh what to I do should I call for help," I said panicking.
"wait here I am gonna call the hospital, okay? I'll be right back" I said as I carried him onto the couch. "N-no d-don't," He said weakly. "Don't leave me" he continued.
"Alright, I won't leave," I said patting him.
Suddenly the sobbing stopped. Beomgyu had fainted in Yeonjun's arms. The smaller was flaming hot which is unusual cause Gyu is usually ice cold. must be fever Yeonjun thought.
He carried Beomgyu's bridal style to Yeonjuns bed and brought him a wet cloth to place it on his head and brought medicine. He laid down next to the smaller one and sighed looking at the other. His face was red and his expression looked pained. Yeonjun patted the other and fell asleep after a bit.
He woke up to Beomgyu cuddling with him which made Yeonjun smile.
"Beomgyu," he said quietly while shaking him trying to wake Gyu up, and soon he did. "Beomgyu... How are you?" Yeonjun asked.
"I am fine but could be better" Beomgyu answered feeling a bit dizzy,
"Did something happen yesterday? I just remember that my dad came," he said honestly. Oh, he forgot? should I tell him? Yeonjun thought but then decided to tell what had happened.
"I see..." Beomgyu said.
"Beomgyu what happened between you and your dad?" I asked quietly.
Beomgyu looked at Yeonjun and then thought for a second before telling Yeonjun to follow him.
They stood up and Beomgyu was about to fall but Yeonjun caught him. "Woah, let's go calmly you were just sick," Beomgyu nodded and they walked together, behind Beomgyu's room door.
"Ah, are you sure?" Yeonjun asked, surprised. "Yes," He said looking up at the other smiling and Yeonjun smiled back.
"Before we go to my room... Can you promise me that you won't leave me alone... no matter what?" Beomgyu said looking at Yeonjun in the eye.
"I won't Gyu," Yeonjun said reassuringly while patting the smaller one's hair.
Beomgyu blushed, smiled and then opened the door...
