Poem: Say... I Love You

I know that you love me
And protect me from the shadows
You admired me from afar
And showed your feelings afterwards

You'd give me the world
If I wanted it
You'd suffer in silence
Afraid of disrupting my happiness
You're not as expressive as I am
And you'd rather not say what you feel

It took me a while to understand
And to accept who we are
I know these words may be hard to experess
And you give of your best

But darling,
will it kill you to say...
