"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the captain speaking. I just wanted to thank you all for flying with Delta Airlines and for trusting us to get you to your destination safely. For passengers, if this is your hometown, welcome home, and for visitors, welcome to Milan, Italy, and enjoy your stay." I hear over the plane intercom as the plane comes to its landing.
Hearing the flight attendants say we are allowed to get up I wait for the person next to me to get up and then I grab my backpack from the overhead bin and head off the plane.
Looking around at the different signs I finally made my way toward baggage claim.
As I'm walking I take my phone out and dial Nyla's number. After the second ring, she picks up.
"Hello" I hear her say
"Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I've landed and I'm heading to baggage claim to pick up my suitcases." I tell her
"Okay, well I'm parked right outside of the doors that lead to baggage claim. I'm in a black Mercedes G wagon." She says
"Bet, I'll be out there in a couple minutes the suitcases are starting to come out." I tell her
"Okay, see you soon." she says as she hangs up
After a couple Minutes I finally get both of my suitcases and I head out of the airport doors and just like she said there was a black G wagon parked right in front of the doors. The windows were so tent I couldn't even see inside, so i just knocked on the window to make my presence known.
Hearing the drivers door open and close after a couple seconds I see my little sister who I haven't seen since I left home coming around the corner with some black sweats on and a matching top

Running up to me she jumps in my arms and gives her a bear hug "I've missed you so much" I tell her
"I've missed you too" she tells me "It's been too long" she continues
"Yes, it has been but on the bright side, you got me a one-way ticket, and my bosses told me I can take all the time off I need since I've never missed a day of work" I tell her
"Well come on I know you're probably jet-lagged and want to settle in but I wanna give you a heads up that the fun starts tonight" she says as we grab my bags and throw them in the trunk
"What you mean the fun starts tonight, girl what you got planned" I asked her as she drives out the airport
"My boss, owns a company out in Samoa and here in Italy, but the Samoa company was taking a lot longer to be fully developed and now it's finally ready" she says keeping her eyes on the rode"since everything is finally ready out there he's throwing a little party out here to celebrate" she continues
"Oh wow that nice" I tell her taking in the scenery around me, Milan is such a beautiful place I thought to myself
"Yea it is, but grab your bags we're here" she says as she parks in front of this building

" I know it don't look like much but the inside is really nice and to my liking" she says as she gets out the car and grab my bags from the trunk
"I hope you're prepared to climb some stairs, our elevator is out until tomorrow and I stay on the third floor" she says
"well no better way to get some exercise than to climb three flights of stairs with some big ass suitcases" I tell her with a laugh
Reaching the last step I look at her "you weren't kidding those stairs are no joke" I tell her
She laughs and pulls out a key "welcome to my humble adobe" she says as she holds the door open for me
walking in I take a look around at the space in front of me "you have a really nice apartment" I tell her
When you first walk in, there's a door to the left, which is just extra storage space; then, if you walk further into the apartment, you see it's an open concept so that you can see the living room to the left, then the dining room in the middle and look to your right is the kitchen
"Okay, so the door right there next to the tv leads to my room, my room also leads to the balcony, I don't know if you smoke, but if you do you can go out there to smoke" she tells me "then the door over there next to the kitchen leads to the guest bedroom where you will be sleeping, there's a bathroom in there with all the essentials you might need" she continues
I look at her a nod "okay, I think I'm just going to get settled in; what time are we heading out tonight" I ask her
"Be ready by ten" she tells me "okay, see you later," I tell her as I walk into the room
Damn, this room is big as hell, I thought to myself; well, lets get to unpacking
