The Celestial was waking up. The Earth was shaking, lava was flowing in the Indian ocean. Tiamut was slowly emerging, opening the planet in two. They didn't have a lot of time ahead of them. Their plan was simple. Phastos had managed to create a link between them that would make one of them more powerful than ever. Druig would use this force to put the Celestial back into a deep slumber. This was the only way to say humanity.

Sersi had to be convinced a little. To go against Arishem's wishes wasn't an easy decision to be taken, even though she didn't want to see the planet destroyed. They never wanted to face such a decision. Sersi herself never wanted to become their leader. They weren't prepared to face such a challenge. Arishem and Ajak had lied to them.

For once, Thena found the right words easily. She only had to think what Gilgamesh would have said in such a situation. Even though her mind was in scramble, Thena was still remembering centuries of her life with him. More than that probably. Gilgamesh would have wanted them to protect the innocents.

The room of the world felt empty with only a part of the team there, gearing up. Ikaris and Sprite had chosen to fight against them. On the other hand, Kingo decided not to participate in the battle ahead. He didn't want to see the planet die but didn't feel he had the right to go after their creator. But really, if Ikaris hadn't killed Ajak, Kingo would have most probably been by his side. He just couldn't choose so he decided not to. Five against two then. At least the odds were a little bit more in their favour.

Tiamut had started emerging. His hand was reaching out. Ikaris and Sprite were already there when the ship, the Domo, arrived. Ikaris attacked straight away. He had never been one to talk, always using his fists first. Thena was waiting for him. They had never really fought against each other, not even sparred amicably. Ikaris always thought he was above that. He was the most powerful after all. His overconfidence was disgusting. Thena had always wanted to fight against him and teach him a lesson of humility. Now was the perfect time for that. To avenge Ajak but above all for Gilgamesh.

Their fight was brutal from the very beginning. He wasn't pulling his punches. It made everything easier for her. Thena had nothing to love now, nothing to lose. Ikaris had already lost even if she wasn't giving him the last blow. Druig, with the help of Sersi and Makkari, was about to use his power on Tiamut. Thena just needed to buy them time. Hurting Ikaris was just a side bonus. Of course, all that wouldn't bring Gilgamesh back. Perhaps it would bring her some kind of peace. Her rage needed to go somewhere. Ikaris was responsible after all.

Phastos' unimind was happening. Golden lines appeared around her, sending her power to Druig. A smile tugged at her lips. The plan was working. Ikaris flew away immediately to stop anything from happening. For a moment, Thena was linked to part of her team. They were one. They were sharing everything, she knew Ikaris had hit Druig, breaking the link.

Part of her was almost glad Gilgamesh wasn't there anymore. Ikaris had surely gone mad. The Domo was now half destroyed because of the laser in his eyes. Gilgamesh would have fought against Ikaris but his heart would have been broken in the process. At least this was something he wouldn't have to witness.

Without Druig, Tiamut was awaking once again. The beach was under a heavy rain made of balls of rock and fire. Thena was slicing through them with her sword but this was just wasting their time. Makkari had been attacking Ikaris, mad with grief. Druig and she had obviously something going on. Thena understood all too well what Makkari was feeling. Ikaris had too much blood on his hands now. He needed to be stopped at all costs.

Somehow, they all knew that everything would be in Sersi's hands in the end. Ajak had chosen her for a reason. Her power had become a lot stronger, just for this occasion almost. Phastos told her so. They had no other choice. Time was of the essence.
