The Hacker Files: Defalt Settings

The 1st Hacker War

The DedSec crew were sitting at the park in front of their hideout. As they were chatting peacefully a drone flew to them. It displayed a digital screen with Defalt on it "Attention DedSec. Due to your extremely slow missions we were able to get our militia together and et an a.i good enough to replace Cliffford. So now starts the plan itself... DedSec's destruction." The drone flew away and they began to notice speeding armored cars. Militia members with machine guns began leaving the cars. Tun3s immeidately grabbed his gun and began to shoot at the men "Get to the Game shop! Our basement's door could withstand a fucking nuke!" He ran to the swarm of militia men, distracting them. As the rest of DedSec were running they heard beeping from their phones. They grabbed them and had notifications of the city being under a threat due to a militia now spreading across all of SF, Oakland and Silicon Valley. The group got into the basement thanks to Tun3s and gathered around. Ethan was dead serious, Sitara was stressed, Josh was nervous, Marcus seemed emotionless and Sara was trying to not cry more than she already was. Ethan spoke "Right! Defalt will take part of this for sure. I'll find a way to lure him and Viggor to one spot with Sara and Josh. Marcus and Sitara, Go assist Tun3s. Our weaponry has from lethal to non-lethal. Take your pick. The police and Mi-6 undecover operatives will aid us to win. Maybe brave DedSec followers too. Let's save this damn city." Marcus and Sitara went to grab weapons as Josh, Sara and Ethan went to Josh's computer. Ethan looked at the map of SF "Now, i know Viggor. He'd want to kill me face to face. If we could get him to me somehow i could kill him. He's too proud to take his militia with him. Josh, how can we get them somewhere?" Josh thought "We could put a marker somewhere onoy Defalt would be smart enough to crack. Maybe hack some profilers for Defalt to see a DedSec level anomaly. Would Tidis work?" Ethan smiled "Perfectly. Time to fuck up Viggor." As he began walking away Sara grabbed his hand "Wait!" She kissed him "Go get 'em." He nodded "I will..."

Marcus, Sitara and Tun3s were fighting at Civic Center. Sitara groaned while shooting "Jesus, how big is this militia?" Tun3s kept dying and coming back as he always rushed into battle finding it lore effective as he never truly dies and gets more people killed "A lot! Keep your cool Sita-" He was shot... Again. Marcus was shooting as expected until the unexpected happened. There was a sniper on the roof that they didn't expect. All they saw that they were a female wearing a black suit with a red collar shirt. It was strange as every other militia member wore full on armor. The sniper shot and bang... Marcus was hit in the head. Sitara ran to him "MARCUS! No, No, No..." She held his corpse as The sniper left. "Marcus, not now..." Tun3s covered her as she held him "He's dead Sitara! If you don't wanna end up the same grab a gun and fight back!" She understood the assignment and continued to shoot back much more determined now.

At the Tidis building was Ethan standing on the rooftop waiting. He then heard the fire escape open "Well well Ethan... Come for round two?" It was Viggor as expected "Damn right Malik. I killed your brother and you're next." Malik smiled determined "Oh yeah? I expected you to be as dumb as last time..." He took his jacket off. Ethan kept his long black coat on. Viggor then charged at him. He dodged again like originally as he was more agile. Viggor kept going strong and so did Ethan. Ethan was landing punches well too. Ethan kicled Viggor in the face making him fall. Unexpectedly as Viggor stood up and turned around he saw Ethan pointing a gun at him. "This was a fist fight!" Ethan smirked "Unlike you i was never into the whole respect the fight thing. DedSec is a grey hat group. We bend the rules Viggor... You should have known that." He shot 3 bullets into viggor's chest. As he stumbled back he just barely spoke "Defalt... He's already at our basement..." He then fell down backwards and fell off the roof, obviously dead. Ethan then got back down to look at Viggor's corpse. He shot one more bullet into his head "Confirmed the kill..." He then remembered his words "Sara and Josh!" He got back into his car and speeded towards HQ again.

At HQ Ethan rushed in. All lights were turned off and nobody was in sight. He walked around holding his gun. He checked the kitchen, living room and such. He then checked Sara's room. Defalt was sitting on the bed next to Sara holding a gun at Sara's head "Hey Ethan. You don't want to kill me. I have fast reflexes... I can kill your girlfriend if i want to, so no shooting me... Though i fear i underestimated DedSec... A lot more DedSec followers fought and killed than i thought... I fear my militia lost and you killed the Maliks... I have a deal though... First drop the gun." Ethan sighed and tossed the gun to him "Thank you Ethan. Now let us talk about my deal... Safe passage out of the city, lots of money, a private jet, obviously, add a super yatch and i don't know... A Lambo." Ethan looked at him dead serious. "Let Sara go and we can fight this out one on one." Defalt smiled "No Ethan... I prefer life. I'm bad at fighting but i'm good at hacking. Now get me my demands or she dies!" Sara was welled in tears as Defalt held the gun to her head. He nodded "Okay, Okay! I'll make a call." Defalt seemed more calm "Good boy. I'll give you two minutes." As Ethan left the room to make a call Defalt looked at Sara "Do you trust him with your life?" Sara looked at him "Are you... Real?" Defalt laughed a bit "Yes, i am real. No more fake Defalt tricks up my sleeve. I dropped that after i killed Aiden." Ethan soon enough came back and looked at him "You have your demands. You can leave." Defalt stood up "Thank you Ethan. I'll release Sara when i'm out of SF..." He grabbed Sara by the hand and dragged her along. As he exited the room he got pistolwhipped by tun3s. He didn't go unconcsious but just fell over in pain "Fuck! What the hell, man..." Tun3s grabbed Defalt by the collar of his hoodie "You are in deep shit Defalt..." He dragged Defalt into the living room. "Ethan, I am about to break the code of surrendering people over if they are defeated..." Ethan smiled "I think i saw a box of sushi with my name all over it." He held Sara's hand and left the living room to somewhere else Defalt looked at Tun3s "Just wait now... You wouldn't be this messed up..." Tun3s grabbed a metal baseball bat with a wrench themed decal "This is gonna hurt Defalt..." In Sara's room Ethan and Sara were making out as they slightly heard Defalt being beat to pulp in the living room. Sara smiled "You're so romantic Ethan..." He smiled This isn't romance... This is intimacy." They kept going at it. Eventually Tun3s stopped the beating and took his gun "You're gonna be a dead mouse Defalt. Die with pride you psychopath fuck. May the afterlife be merciful to you." Defalt smiled "This war was all a duty to encourage Providence..." He then shot him in the head and smiled "Relief..."

2 weeks later Sitara was talking to M at a governmental agency "Defalt died in a fight as a few guys ganged up on him and beat him up. Then Tun3s cut out the fight and shot him in the head." M nodded "I see... Him and the Maliks deserved to die though. You did a good job on a situtation like this. I'd stay on your toes though. There are still enemies left alive..." Sitara smiled "We will. You did well picking Ethan. He is excellent." M seemed confident "I always pick my operatives well. My last one defeated Spectre and Safin." Back at base DedSec was having a house party after the 1st hacker war clean up. Sara and Ethan were holding hands, Sitara and Tun3s were back there after reporting back to M on the dance floor and Josh was drinking with a man dressed in a long white robe and had a pointy hood. They had red in their outfit as well. On the back of his robes was a logo that was often seen in history books. The logo of the Brotherhood. Also known as The Assassins...
