Our little secret

Chapter 9

"You just going to gawk at her all night, or are you going  to ask your lady on the dance floor." Ben wanted to slap this man on the back of his head, he just completely  Narcked on him when he was trying to play it cool.

Miranda couldn't help, but blush as she heard Jason tell on her best friend making him blush with embarrassment. Ben quickly cleared his throat and got up from his seat and walked around to the other side where Miranda was seated. Placing his hand in front of her to grab.

" Miranda would you like to dress... I mean dance with me." Ben said coughing through his sentence,  he didn't understand why he was so damn nervous all of the sudden.

The table broke out in pure laughter until Miranda grabbed his hand, and gave them the death stare over her shoulder when they started to move to the dance floor.

**beep beep**

"Callie you are being paged we can finish this later it could an emergency my life affairs aren't more important than a patient's life," Miranda said as Callie's pager was constantly buzzing Torres shoved her off and told her to continue rolling her eyes Miranda continued with what happened.

" so you like my dress, Benjamin," Miranda said with a smirk knowing he was fighting with everything he has to not let his hands roam she could tell by his grip on her waist as they sway with one another. Ben's grip got tighter as he pulled Miranda closer to him causing Miranda's breath to hitch.  Smirking at her reaction he knew she was trying to tease him but failed to realize just how much his touch affected her.

" I don't like it Miranda I'm damn near in love with it you are absolutely breathtaking. I've never met someone so beautiful until I met you, and you prove so, even more, tonight because you look damn good woman you leave me speechless every time I see you and look at you. The best thing about it is that you are my best friend and I don't think I could make it  without you ."  Ben said as one of his hands leaves her waist and found its way under her chin pushing her head to look up at him, he gently moved his hand up so that it was cuffing her cheek as he stared into her beautiful brown eyes.

Miranda blushed at his words she was so nervous and she didn't know why his words gave her such butterflies, but when he positioned her face to face him and for their eyes to meet she couldn't help but move in on her tippy toes and brush her lips against his so gently she almost thought she missed them. 

Feeling her lips so gently and so soft Ben couldn't help but groan. He needed more before she could pull away Ben cuffed the back of her head with one hand while the other hand was on her waist keeping her so close as he pressed his lips into hers so much more fiercely than she did earning a small whimper from Miranda as she kissed him back matching his fiery.  Once they finally pulled apart gasping for much-needed air their gazes meet and as if they could both read each other 's minds they both spoke at the same time making them smile.

"Mee too"  Ben grabbed Miranda's hand as they walked to their booth so she could grab her purse. Once they said their goodbyes they called an Ober and headed on their way back to their hotel. Ben walked into the room seeing Miranda in front of the mirror reaching for the zipper to her dress. Not able to help himself he found himself right behind her staring at her through the glass mirror.

Miranda's heart started to beat so fast as she watched and waited for his next move as he stopped her hand bringing it back to her side. Ben licked his lips and leaned forward grazing his lips on Miranda's ear as he whispers in a deep sensational tone giving her chills.

" You don't know how much I wanted to run my hand all over you tonight.  How much I wanted to take my hands and run the tips of my fingers up your sides slowly starting at your thighs and making my way up to your neck and then your back. Finally reaching  your zipper but instead of getting it out the way, and unzip it quickly. I wanted to pull it down painfully slow like this."
