Blood r i v e r take me

I tried to reach for the stars but I got tired of–

Trying when the stars no longer wanted to hold onto my hands and use its back as a ladder, for me to climb.

and the moon betrayed me while walking away as I called out it's name my voice ache like stone cold silk with crystals, i can not make.

I tried to pull the clouds closer towards me with
A plea and cry and gaze but like the moon the clouds tuned their backs on me, leaving me to fight for myself in this crimson blood lake where only
Darkness swallows me up licks the plate clean like ten star dish thanking the moon, stars and the clouds for its secret recipe.

I tried to fight I really did but I got tired of fighting,
My brain broken like an old record who got tired of singing to the world when the world didn't sing for him. My heart got tired of carrying melancholy and boxes of locked away memories so with myself I let the blood river take me sinking me down in its throat sacrificing me, I am to blood river the moon shedding a tear light illuminating my body the stars guilty shameful for not granting my wishes the blood river smiling from down below nodding to the ones I once called my family my friends saying a thank you I curse them for I am the poet
drowning.
