Another voice scoffed doubtfully. "Oh really? You see how it's acted towards us. Treating us like we're nothing more than measly ants. Just because you spend so much of your time in the living world doesn't mean it's all pretty and perfect up here,"
The first cat shuffled his paws nervously. "Still... I do it because it's a part of my job. You do it to get out of your duties. I just want the family to stick together... you know?"
The second cat sighed, sitting down. "I know, and I have my reasons for doing that. But you've seen how the kingdom has been lately. Grand change is on the horizon, and everyone can sense it," he narrowed his eyes. "Don't give me the excuse that you haven't noticed, brother. I know you have,"
"Right, right!" The first cat exclaimed. "The new leader!"
"Yes, and with new leadership comes a new rule. I just hope the kingdom doesn't forget about us again..." the second cat trailed off.
