I quickly turned to look at him and saw he's going to leave. I then quicky hold his sleeves as that was the only thing I could reach. He stop and look back at me. Before I could even realize and thinking, the words "Stay" just come out from my mouth the moment I look at him in the eyes. He also keep staring at me. Few seconds pass and we still freeze in our place. I was feeling so nervous that I didn't let go of his sleeve but instead hold it tighter. He look at his sleeves before staring back at me. I gulped hard.
I put my head down since I'm sure my face became crimson red with his stare. What is this feeling I'm feeling right now? I feel like I'm going to combust and light headed??
Suddenly I feel myself got lifted and that my back was laid back down on the bed again. I feel a shifted behind me before a hand wrapped around my waist come to my sight. He pull me closer to him. "Let's just stay here for a few minutes" he said. A little smile crept up to my face. I then slowly close my eyes and drift off to sleep again.
__
"We'll have an important meeting tomorrow, I need you to take the minute. So make sure you come early."
"Yes I will. Don't worry."
"Alright. See you tomorrow Eun."
I hang up the phone. I don't know why but he's getting a bit strange and he also seems distant these days. I don't even know what's wrong and what happened for him to be like this. Is he still feel guilty about what happened at the restaurant bar? If it's about that, he can just forget it. I already forgive him and I don't even want to remember it. Ever.
The sound of the front door opened and closed make me jumped a little but then I saw him enter the kitchen with just a slight smirk. He just take a glass of water before going to upstairs, to his office room.
This guy here is also one thing. Early today he was being so soft and all but now he's back to being himself. Does this split personality run in their family? Shaking my head out of the thought and went upstairs into my room before closing my eyes again. I need to sleep early since we have a meeting.
_____
Morning greet by the loud sound of my alarm. I slowly get up to turn it off. Looking at my phone, it's already 6 in the morning. Stretching myself up and went to the bathroom for a shower. Finished everything and dressing up, I went downstairs for some refreshing drink to wake me up properly.
I'm not tired but it's just my mind who can't seem to have a rest. They keep thinking and thinking. Making a cup of tea and sit by the counter. My mouth seems can't stop yawning. Looking at the watch, it's 6:30 morning. I still have 30 minutes left. I was about to place my head on counter when a figure came in with a very good and intoxicating smell.
I looked up and saw him in his work attire ready for work. A maroon shirt tucked in a black slack with the sleeves roll up to his elbow and a watch on his left hand with his hair up showing his beautiful forehead—wait! Stop Eunjin! I shake my head and put my attention back on the cup of tea.
Just then I feel presence beside me. He's sitting next to me while typing something on his phone. He then put his phone on his ear.
"Yea. You don't need to pick her up. I'll send her to your office. It's up to me. If you don't want it then fired her." he said before hang up and look at me.
"I'll send you to work. We'll go after you finish your drink." he finish his drink in one gulped while I keep staring at him without I even realize. He look so good that I can't help but staring again and again and how can he drink in one go?
"take a picture, it will last longer" he suddenly said and I quickly snap out of it. He must have noticed that I keep looking at him and flashed me a smirk. Clearing my throat and I hurriedly finished the drink.
