"During those times though, there was this kid, a Julian Duncan, right? He was literally like you, the basketball team captain. Total jock. Had more muscles than his brains and he literally tried hitting on her. Every goddamn time. Which obviously pissed her." Ace gave a dramatic sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "He was already the worst sort of person, considering he was already bullying me, and the baby next to me so there wasn't really anything I could do to get him from touching my goddess."

Then Ace's face changed into a darker one. "Then one day, from the rumours going on, he stole a kiss without permission and the next day, pictures of the sort of magazines he used was all over the school."

"Dude was gay!"

Paris did a double take. "What?"

"He was just pissing her off because he could!" Ace continued, now excited. "And he was also literally the most homophobic person ever. You hold nothing on him. Truthfully."

"Why did anyone believe that? It could have been dumped there on purpose." Paris said.

"There were also receipts. His name. Plus, he wasn't a good actor. At least, for that day." Ace said with a shrug. "Then the bullying started. He'd see notes like Liar, Hypocrite and shit in his locker. Get beaten up by his mates. Not like they are anti LGBT here, just the whole drama, you know? So Julian killed himself."

"What?"

"Yeah, no one saw it coming. Think it kinda put everyone off for a while, but that's when the popular kids got mad at us for it. Like we didn't do anything! And we weren't exactly sorry about it, but the hell!" Ace said, pulling Marcos took his side. "I mean, he took more hits than imaginable. You'd never be seated here with us if you knew how many people stripped him naked each day."

Paris turned to Marcos who was now picking at his food silently. Of course, he had already guessed he must have been bullied once, but he didn't think it was that bad. "And the teachers didn't say about?"

"What were they supposed to say? Marcos was already a target the first day he wore a pink and blue sweater with butterflies on it. I'm sure they were even glad that the group were picking us, the weirdo's, out like weeds."

"One day, however, it all stopped." Ace continued, "From what I heard, Parker threatened to reveal the secrets of the whole popular group board. And when I say secrets, I don't mean stupid things like outing someone. I mean serious destroy your whole life shit. Like, they all literally avoided us. Every single one of them. No more bullying. Ever. It's like she reformed the whole school in a day. Only a real queen would do that."

In other words, she had all of Wystwood in her hand.

"You can't say that. You appreciate what she did? Don't be pathetic. Highschool is a war ground. How are people supposed to get stronger if someone keeps protecting them?" Paris snapped.

"Whoa, dude. That's the deepest and yet most stupid thing I've ever heard. We're teenagers, alright, high school is supposed to be fun, and memorable. No one is supposed to want to kill us for our mistakes." Ace said with a roll of his eyes.

"Yet, someone died. Didn't they? She murdered someone."

"No, she didn't," Marcos was staring at him with a look in his eyes. Something close to fear.

Paris fed on it. "She didn't have to pull the trigger but it was her fault. Alex had no right to take out justice on anyone. And she calls me the hypocrite. She's a two faced —"

He felt the slap before he saw it.

The whole school was staring now more intensely, while Paris tried to get the whole situation.
