"That will be all; you are dismissed," Uther told his son.
Arthur nodded his head before exiting the throne room as he held Merlyn's necklace and kept her promise in mind.
Her necklace was a dragon circle pendant.
It didn't take them long to reach a small outlying village called Ealdor that was in Cenred's kingdom.
The family settled down there; it was their home now, and Merlyn wonders how long it will be until she returns to Camelot and whether she will keep her promise to return to Camelot.

10 years can change a person because now Merlyn has grown up to be a beautiful young lady. She is kind, caring, free-spirited, brave, and feisty. Her older brother Hunter is known as Robin Hood throughout the kingdoms, and he happened to find his true love. Marian was a princess from Knighton Hall, then there was Louis and Aliena; the two of them are the last ones in the group. As for Arthur, he has become arrogant and childish through the years and is soon to be crowned prince of Camelot.
Marina and Hunter had a beautiful baby girl who is 5 years old and named Mara.
"Do you have to leave?" Louis watched as Merlyn packed her bags. Hunter was sitting at the table as he fixed his bow, and Marian was by him. Mara's head was on her mother's lap as she was asleep.
Aliena was sitting down on one of the stairs as she was eating an apple.
"Yes, Lou. I have to because too many people are finding out." Merlyn told him as she finished packing.
"Is that the only thing that you are worried about?" "Hunter said as he put down his bow and crossed his arms, looking at his sister.
Merlyn looked at her brother, and she nodded her head.
"Lyn, we will protect you from him no matter what," Hunter told her as Louis, Aliena, and Marian all nodded their heads to agree with what Hunter said.
"Hunt is right because he has to get through us," Aliena said to her.
"I know, but for how long, and he has a lot more power than us, Aliena?" Merlyn said in a worried voice.
"Lyn, you don't need to worry," Marian told her.
Merlyn was about to say something until her mother, Hunith, walked in and said, "My beautiful baby girl."
"Mother, are you sure that I should go?" Merlyn told her mother.
Hunith nodded her head before she ran her finger through her daughter's hair. " Merlyn, I told you it would be safer for you there, and a lot of people are whispering about what you can do."
"And we will keep it no matter what," Marian said to them, knowing she was telling the truth.
"I'm just going to miss you guys," Merlyn told her family and friends.
"We are going to miss you too, Lyn," Aliena said as she got down before crossing her arms over her chest.
"Or are you worried that he won't remember you or that he won't recognize you?" Louis said this before getting hit on the head by Hunter.
"Lou, he's a prince now, and I hardly think he would remember who I am. Plus, I'm not worried about that; I'm worried about what the king does if he finds out there," Merlyn told him as she put her pack on with a bow and arrows.
Louis simply nodded his head before getting up and telling her, "This place won't be the same without you."
"I know Lou, but please be on your best behavior, hunter." As she broke away from the hug and looked at her brother.
"Why are you giving us a hard time, not Aliena or Marian?" Louis said as Hunter nodded his head.
"They are both responsible and won't get into trouble like you too," Merlyn told them as she and her brother hugged. "Goodbye," goodbye sister. I hope your life in Camelot is better than here."
"Thank you for trusting us, Lyn," Marian said to her sisters-in-law as she softly went through her daughter's hair.
"I should keep going; I've got a long walk ahead of me." She told them as she said her last goodbyes, and she gave a goodbye kiss to her niece before walking out of her home until she saw her ex, Will.
They simply locked eyes with each other before she walked away.
She walked away from her home. She walked away from her life knowing she would find a better one, knowing it wouldn't mess up, but she had hope it would.
