"I guess next month it is," his wife returns the smile. "I'll make new invitation cards and send them out."
Jungkook first exhibited traces of shock, but within moments, his look changed to one of resignation and a sense of betrayal. He thought at least his mother would stand by him. But her too?
"Have you two lost your mind?!" Jungkook disrupts a shout and ends his parents' conversation as they plan his wedding earlier than the date decided before.
"What?" Seo-Jun turned her head back to face her son.
"Hey," his father gave him a scathing look in the front mirror because of his rude behavior. "Behave yourself. You've been very disrespectful lately, throwing water in women's faces-"
"No, don't lecture me on respect! Where is the respect I should be getting from the two of you?!" Jungkook cut him off, feeling his chest clenching. The weight of tears in his eyes became too much for him to bear. He began to sob.
Sung-Ho went quiet, quickly becoming softened by his son's big, weeping eyes on more levels than he cared to confess. He, at last, felt some pity for his son.
"Is something wrong?" His dad calmly asked.
"Yes, everything is wrong!" Jungkook shouted. And again tears flowed from his eyes. His breathing became heavier, almost as if something had plugged his lungs, so he stopped and took a breath. He even felt this feeling before, many times but this time it was getting worse.
Way, way worse.
"Nothing has been going the right way ever since you've forced me on that bitch!" His body started to shake and his breathing picked up again, almost as if he was about to have a seizure. He ignored it and continued shouting again. "You both don't know to raise children-"
He halted. His breathing ceased. He made an effort to breathe in, but all of his tears simply fell, making it impossible for him to sense the air around him. More tears began to fall down his cheeks as he began to panic but more so when he started to shake.
Seo-Jun scowled as she anticipated something unfavorable. She looked back at her son only to notice him breathing loudly.
"Mom-m?" Jungkook stuttered as he could sense himself passing out any second due to the scarcity of oxygen.
Her mother's eyes opened, but they grew even wider when she saw how violently her son was quivering. "Honey, what's wrong?" She said in a panic.
"Mom-m, I can't-t breathe," Jungkook said in a panic, his heart racing and his tears raining. "I can't breathe-e." He panted.
"Son, what's happening?!" Sung-Ho panicked as well, diverting his gaze from the road and dividing it between Jungkook and the road.
"Are you alright, Jungkook?!" His mother started to fear as she saw how ill her son looked. She felt uneasy. "Sung-Ho, stop the car!" She gave her husband a short glance.
"We're in the middle of a highway, what do you mean?!" Sung-Ho shouts.
"Mom-m, help-p." Jungkook was beseeching through whimpers. He didn't want to pass away this way without first seeing you.
"Stop the fucking car, your son is dying here!" She grabbed the steering wheel in a flash of wrath, forcing Sung-Ho to veer the vehicle to the side of the road, where it came to a stop with a loud screech.
Because of this, Jungkook experiences more anxiety, which exacerbates his panic attack.
Jungkook's parents hastily exit the vehicle and rush to his side to open the door, but as they do so, Jungkook collapses to the floor, rolling while his hands are placed on his chest. He is trying desperately to breathe, but it feels like there is no air around him.
