You Are The Only Exception

Chapter 15

"Guessing your a fan then." Chad laughed while sitting down.

"You could say that." Ben had the biggest smile on his face and his whole face lit up, which I couldn't help but laugh at. "What?" He asked.

"Your face. You just look so happy!" I lent over and pinched his cheek.

"Get off." He slapped my hand away and we all laughed at Ben. "Shut up!" Bens' face went bright red and I couldn't help but laugh again.

"Okay I can't breathe." Hayley said, trying to catch her breath again.

"Guys. Guys! We need to calm down now." Taylor tried to quite everyone which worked a bit but we broke down in laughter again. It wasn't even that funny but hey, you gotta laugh if everyone is laughing right?!

After about 30 minutes if us trying to stop laughing and just sharing stories, we decided to just relax and lay down on our towels.

Taylor put his arms around my waist and fell asleep for a while, which everyone laughed at again and I took a photo of him.

"Not my fault I'm tired." He grumbled and rolled over onto his belly.

"Aww T." I said while messing up his hair. "Do you guys want ice cream?" Taylor quickly sat up but lost his balance and fell back onto the towel.

"Well that woke someone up." Kat commented.

"I'll have chocolate with butterfinger crumbles please!" Taylor quickly said. I got out my phone and wrote down the orders as they were flying at me. "So who's helping me carry these then?" At that point, everyone looked down and tried to avoid eye contact with me. "Thanks Hazel!"

"But I didn't say I would!" she exclaimed.

"Oh well. You're coming with me whether you like it or not." I got up and grabbed her hand, pulling her up and dragging her to the ice-cream van. I asked the ice-cream man for the orders and waited for him to make them. I walked around for a bit until someone bumped into me.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry." I recognised the voice and turned around to see Tommy standing there smiling. "I see we meet again."

"Yes. Yes we do." I smiled back at him. "What you doing here then?" I asked him.

"Just came to chill really. You?"

"Hanging with some of my friends. This is Hazel by the way." I pointed to Hazel who was now standing next to me.

"Nice to meet you." Tom put his hand out.

"You too." Hazel gladly shook his hand. "Do you wanna hang out with us? I'm the others won't mind." Hazel offered,

"Sounds great to me!" He replied cheerfully.

"The two girls with the really big order?" the ice-cream man shouted. We went over and grabbed the ice-cremes and Tommy brought his own and we made our way back to the others.

"Here you go guys!" I gave everyone their ice-cream and sat back down next to Taylor.

"Who this then?" Taylor asked.

"This is Tommy. I met him this morning when i bumped into him in Starbucks." Tommy waved awkwardly and sat down next to me.

"Nice to meet ya." Jeremy nodded to him.

"You too." We started a big conversation starting with everyone telling Tommy their names and asking about each others jobs to just a normal chit chat. Well when say normal i mean we were talking about if dogs could talk, what would they say.

"They'll probably say how much we stink." I suggested and everyone laughed at me. "What?! They're noses are more sensitive than ours so they smell more. I bet Cowboy is thinking right now is about how much we stink."

"Do you mean how much you stink?" Chad laughed and everyone joined in with him.

"You're a man! You sweat more than woman do so you stink more than i do so sushhh."

"Aww I'm only kidding." Chad reached over and ruffled my hair.

"I swear if you touch my hair one more time, I will slaughter you." I warned him and he slowly backed away. "Yeah. That's what I thought."

It was night time now and me and Taylor were back at his place, cuddling while watching Wayne's World. Today was great and I got to know Tommy a bit better. He actually only lives a couple of houses away from Taylor so we could meet up when ever we want really. It was also nice meeting up with Hazel, Chad and Kat again since I have't seen them in a while and it was nice to see how they were doing as well.

"Today was fun." Taylor kissed my forehead.

"Yeah. It was nice meeting up with everyone." I smiled.

"Mmm. Tommy seems like a nice lad. How did you guys actually meet?" I explained from when i spilt coffee down him to when he walked me back to the studio, Taylor just nodding in response.

I moved around on the sofa until I was comfortable and felt my eyes getting heavy. Before i knew it, I was asleep to the sound of Wanye's World and Taylor laughing every time they did something stupid or made a joke.
