I woke to Taylors sleeping face, facing me with his hair scuffled up and his mouth slightly ajar. Why does he have to look so perfect when he's asleep?! I slowly turned over ,making sure not to wake Taylor up, and checked the time on my phone. 9:30. I should probably wake Taylor up.
"Taylor." I whispered. No response. "Taylor it's time to wake up." I shook him a bit and he groaned and slowly opened his eyes.
"Morning." He yawned.
"Morning. Come on we need to be at the studio soon." I got out if bed and brushed my hair quickly before going into the spare room where all my clothes were and changing into a pair of grey skinny jeans, a random black t-shirt and a dark blue hoodie.
I put on some mascara and left the room, not really bothering about my appearance today. I went to the kitchen to start cooking me and Taylor pancakes for breakfast. I took out the pancake mix from the cupboard; pored milk into the bottle and shook it until the powder was fully gone and left it to settle of a bit.
I heard a clawing noise behind. I turned around to see Bill, scratching at a cupboard. "You hungry bud?" He looked up at me with his puppy eyes and just died in them. "Alright then."
I lent down and opened up the cupboards then grabbed a massive blue bag with random dogs running around happily. Wow this is a lot of dog food. I out the bag on the counter top and picked up Bill's bowl and filled it up with the right amount of food.
"I should hire you as my personal slave." Taylor said from behind me, coursing me to jump.
"Yeah, it's called a housewife but since I'm not your wife I'll be your house girlfriend." I smiled at him while putting Bill's bowl down on the floor and returning my attention to the pancake mix.
"Well maybe you could be my house wife some day." Taylor came up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He kissed my neck which sent butterflies in my stomach to go wild and rested his head on my shoulder.
"Some day. Yeah." I said quietly. I poured some of the pancake mix in the pan which spread out to every inch of the pan.
"Still up for today?" Taylor asked. I had totally forgot that I had to meet up with Hazel properly today. Oh god.
"Uh. Sort of. I'll need some time to get properly ready bu-"
"You look perfect the way you are Chels." Taylor cut me off. "Your makeup is beautiful and your clothes look stunning on you. Trust me, okay? You don't need to 'get ready' to meet Hazel. Just go how you are."
"Okay, but I'm putting on a little bit more makeup and don't even both trying to change my mind." I smiled at him.
"Okay." He said letting of me and sitting on the kitchen counter. "Almost done?" He asked.
"Yep" I said, poppin the 'p'. "Just a couple more minutes and they will be done." I put one of the pancakes on a plate and started to make another one.
After making thousands of pancakes, me and Taylor finally arrived at the studio. Hayley was there but Jeremy wasn't.
"Where's Jerm?" I asked.
"Having a day at home since he doesn't need to do anything today." Hayley replied. I nodded and sat down next to Hayley.
"What we doing today then?" I asked.
"I need to do some back up vocals and T needs to record some guitar so."
"Okay. I'll help with what I can then." I smiled.
"You could get us some coffee?" Taylor asked shyly.
"I'm not your slave!" I shouted at him.
"You did say you could help out with what you can do, and coffee makes me concentrate." Taylor said with a smirk plastered in his face. "Please?" He gave me his best puppy eyes and I couldn't say no.
"Fine but you're paying for everyone's." I groaned.
"Fine." Taylor took his wallet from his pocket and gave me $15 to get everyone a coffee.
"Where's the nearest Starbucks?" I asked.
"If you go straight ahead then turn right at the second turning then you should see it." Hayley told me. "Oh and can you get me some kind of cake since Taylor is paying?"
"Thank you and yep." I left the studio and followed Hayleys directions. Today was hot and sunny. The sun, beaming down on everyone, making my skin slowly burn. 'Should of put on sun cream' I thought to myself.
I arrived at Starbucks and ordered 4 coffees and a caramel slice for Hayley. I took a seat to a near by table a looked around.
There was a business man working on his computer with a stressed look on his face and some files by the side of him. By the window there was a girl around 16 with a water bottle and scrolling through her iPhone, not paying attention to anything else.
"4 coffees and a caramel slice?" The cashier said. I got up and took the order.
"Thank you." I gave the cashier a smile and turned around when I bumped into someone, causing them to catch one of the coffees that I had in the tray. "Oh god I'm so sorry."
"No no it's alright. My fault." I looked up to see a man in his 20's wearing a pair of sunglasses with his longish brown hair, dangling over his forehead. "Seem to have a lot of coffee there for one small girl."
"No th-this isn't all for me I ha-"
"I was joking." He laughed. "Need a hand?"
"You sure?" I asked.
"Yes. Now give me those drinks." He held out his hand and I hand him the cardboard tray with the drinks in. We left Starbucks an started walking to the studio.
"What's your name?" I asked him.
"Tom or Tommy. Depends what you prefer really, you?"
"Chelsea. You could call me Chels if you want. All my friends do."
"Nice name. I love your hair by the way. Did you dye it yourself?" He asked.
"Uh no. My friend, Hayley, did it for me."
"She's good." He smiled.
"Not surprised since she's dyed her hair about a thousand times." I laughed.
"So, what do you do for a living?"
"I use to work at a music store in Franklin but I'm helping my friends record their new album. You?" I asked.
"I tour with a band."
"Awesome!" I smiled at him. I looked up at him a saw that was looking back at me. I couldn't help but blush and quickly turned my head back to the pavement. "We're here."
"Here's your coffee then." Tom passed me the coffees. "Here's my number. Call me." He wrote his number a napkin and put it on the coffees.
"I will. See ya around."
"Bye." He waved goodbye and walked away. I couldn't help but smile to myself. I couldn't fall for him already. Could I? 'Chelsea! Your with Taylor! Focus!' I told my self.
I shook my head and opened the door to the studio. I went back into the recording space a set down the coffees.
"Here you go guys and Hayley, I got you a caramel slice."
"Thank you." She grabbed her coffee and the caramel slice and began munching on it. "You took your time."
I sat down a grabbed my coffee. "Yeah. I pumped into this boy and almost spilt the coffees all over him. Then we just talked while walking up here." I explained.
"What's his name?" Taylor asked in a jealous tone.
"Tom or Tommy. Depends what you wanna call him." I saw Taylor's face go a light red. "There's nothing to worry about, okay? I just met him." I said reassuring Taylor that nothing was going on.
"Okay." He smiled at me "Let's get this over with." He said taking a sip from his coffee and getting up. Today is gunna be a long day.
