You Are The Only Exception

Chapter 15

"Ben!" Hazel screamed as she started to run towards him.

"Hey!" He hugged her tightly and kissed her. "Hey guys!" Me and Taylor waved at him as we started making our way onto the beach.

"Should we sit here?" I asked. I really didn't feel like walking to the other side of the beach.

"Yeah sure." Taylor said and we all sat down on the sand. Ben opened up his backpack he was wearing and got out a towel for each of us.

"Here you go guys. I didn't know if you already brought towels so I got some for you just in case." He smiled and chucked me and Taylor a towel.

"Thanks man." Taylor said, unrolling the towel and laying on it. I did the same and took off my dress to reveal my bikini underneath. I'm in LA, might as well get a tan while I'm here right?

"I thought you were stripping then!" Hazel burst out laughing.

"Yeah, I'm just going to go to the beach and tan .... naked." I said sarcastically. Everyone laughed including me but we soon stopped when I heard someone shout my name.

I sat up and started to look around the beach to notice a man and a girl walking hand in hand. I recognised that beard any where.

"Jeremy! Kat!" I got up and ran towards them both, pulling them both into a hug.

"I haven't seen you in ages!" Kat exclaimed, tightening the hug.

"I know! I've missed you so much!" I let go of them both and I had a massive grin on my face.

Kat is one of the most nicest person that I know. She's that friend who listens to you and know exactly how to cheer you up and make you smile.

"And this must be Cowboy." I looked down and picked up the small dog. He licked my face and I laughed. He was adorable.

"Yep." Jeremy smiled. "Cowboy, this you auntie Chelsea." He said while patting Cowboy on the head.

"He's so adorable I could just eat him." I pretended to eat him up before putting him on the ground. "Y'all wanna join us?" I pointed to where I was previously sitting. They nodded and we walked back to where everyone was.

"Hey y'all!" Jeremy waved at everyone and got back a echo of hellos. I looked over to Hazel who looked as if she was about to die if emotions.

"Jeremy! You remember Hazel, right?" I asked.

He thought for a minute them it came to him. "Oh yeah! You went out with Ta-" he stopped half way through when I guess he remembered how that turned out. "Yeah. Uh, it's nice to see you again Hazel." He just smiled and we sat down.

"Nice to see you too." Hazel returned the smile. "This is Ben, by the way. He's my boyfriend." She kissed Ben on the cheek.

"This is Kat as well. My now wife." Kat lent on Jeremy's shoulder and I couldn't help but smile. They were perfect together.

"And this is Cowboy." Kat picked up Cowboy from the sand. "My other fury face." She kissed Cowboy on the top of his head.

"Oh and I'm Taylor." I rolled my eyes at Taylor.

"I recognise you from somewhere." Jeremy questioned.

"Hmm I've never seen you before." We all laughed at them. Typical.

"Guys!" a feminine voice shouted. I looked around and saw Hayley and Chad coming over. I heard Hazel mutter something under her breath but I chose to ignore it.

"This has just turned out to be a massive hang out." Ben laughed. "Hi I'm Ben." He introduced himself to Hayley and Chad. "You must be Hayley and I know you are already. Chad Gillbert. My dreams have just came true."
