I stand there waiting on the porch as I knocked on the door "It's open." I hear faintly from the other side
I open the door to see toys everywhere. I look up seeing Majesty coming down the stairs along with Malcomes brother alopecia

I pull inside of the driveway to see two grown ass men come rushing out door with panicked looks on their faces
I turn the car off, grab my keys and phone hop out.
"Where the hell were you? We woke up and you were fucking gone, not picking up your phone at all-"
I quickly cut him off "whoa let me stop you right there. First of all, I changed my number a year ago when I got my new phone, second you not finna sit here a talk to me like I'm a fucking child. "Where were you, Empress?" Malcome ask me softly
I open the back door and slide the rear facing car seat out. "I was picking up our daughter" I say looking Malcome in the eye
I close the car door and lock it with my key and start walking inside the house.
"What do you mean "Our Daughter". He says shocked and confused
"Malcome meet Syela Marie Black, Sye for short."

"You remember that little rendezvous we had before you went missing for a year and a half? Yeah, it led to me popping a 7 pound baby out of my vagina." I say sarcastically

"Hell no. I'm not putting a target on my daughters back, we were okay before you and we will be okay when you leave." I say
Never ever can you rely on Giyanni or Malcome to stay for anything. Heavy on Giyanni he doesn't care about anything but himself
"Are you saying you don't trust me enough to keep my child safe?" He says standing up

"Well if the boot fits." I say unstrapping her out of her car seat and wrapping her up in her baby blanket that Majesty bought her while she had her yesterday

Before he can even respond Sye start cooing letting me know she's awake.

I stand up grabbing Sye and walking away to the kitchen to make her a bottle.

Giyanni hands me the bottle just as she started to get fussy "Is it selfish that I don't wanna die? That I don't want my child to grow up without a mother like I did? That I don't want her to know that there's a possibility that she could get kidnapped and raped because of her father's enemies?" They both look at me with shame on their faces because they know it's true
"3 Years ago it was all or nothing never did I care if I lived or died, I had nothing to live for and on the slight chance that i got kidnapped I knew how to protect myself. Malcome I'm a mother. This is what I live for, I can't stand being away from my child more more than 24 hours. She is the bane of my existence."
Malcome grabs my face "My life before yours. 3 years ago we made you a promise. Our lives before yours."
"Always." Giyanni says
Tears start to flow from my eyes "If I let you two back into my life and into hers, this is your last time. You get no chances after this, you screw it up it's on you. Understand?" They say yes shaking their heads
Malcome pulls me into a tight hug being cautious of the baby, and mumbles in my ear "I promise."
