I currently sit in the basement talking to Lucas, well trying to
"Hey man, you ok?" I spoke into my walkie
Static sounded, then a bunch of yelling, my eyes went wide as I looked at Dustin he rushed to the bathroom door where Mike and El are
"Guys! It's Lucas! We think he's in trouble!"
"What!?" Mike ran over behind Dustin
"You know how he said he was looking for the gate? What if he found it?" I said handing Dustin the com
Shouting kept sounding through the radio as Mike took it "What's he saying?"
"I don't know he's way out of range!" I crossed my arms
More shouting sounded then "You son of a bitch!" well at least he's still Lucas
"Lucas, if you can hear us slow down. We can't understand you" Mike spoke into my walkie
Words sounded but they were jumbled
"Mad hen. What's that mean?" Dustin said
"Mad hen?.." I mumbled "Bad men. Bad men! They're coming!" I jumped off the couch
"Stay here" Mike told El as we rushed up the stairs. We looked out a window to see a white van
"What's that guy doing?" Mike asked
"We need to get out of here." I said turning around and running to mom quickly, my bag hitting my hip with each step.
"Mom!" I yelled as she talked on the phone "Mom!"
"Mom!" Mike yelled from behind me
"What!? I'm on the phone how many--"
"Is anyone coming to do repairs?" Mike asked
"What?"
"Is anyone coming to do repairs on the house?" I asked quickly
"I don't understand. Is there something wrong--"
"no mom, nothing's wrong in the house." Mike spoke rushed
"Y/N! Mike!" Dustin ran into the kitchen
"One second" Mike yelled at him as him and mom kept arguing
"Dude!! We need to leave. Right now." Dustin said
As me and Mike followed Dustin around the corner Mom knew I was the more sensible one so she called for to explain "Y/N!"
"Mom! If anyone asks we've left the country!" I said turning the corner to following Mike and Dustin
We rushed outside and grabbed our bikes, we ran out closer to the road before getting on them. A bunch of men walked over and we stared at them for a second
"Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!" Dustin yelled as we started riding away
"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!" I panicked, riding my bike the fastest. This is some real fight or flight shit
"Yeah Lucas, they're on us!" Dustin yelled into his microphone "Cornwallis!" he paused for a second "Copy! Elm and cherry!" He yelled
"Ok!" Me and Mike yelled, picking up the speed. As we went onto a road we saw the vans
"This way come on!" Mike said from beside me
We came up to a park with little girls playing in our way "Out of the way! Out of the way!" Dustin yelled as we went down hill
